Hey everyone! New here to the forum, but not Toyota. I've had two Tacomas and this is my second Tundra. I have a tire question I hope someone can help me with. My truck is a 17' TSS Offroad. It came with 285/55/20 K02 tires. They are awesome, but I want a softer ride. Going back with an all-terrain, just one with a lighter load rating. My question is: Will 275/60/20 tires fit OK and not rub? I've tried to measure and it appears that they will but want to make sure before I order the tires. Stock hight. Thanks for the help!

that tire should fit (I assume that you are using the stock tss wheels?). you might have to remove the little front mud flap.

The size difference between these two tires is pretty small. 275/60/20 is a little more than 1/2 inch taller and a little less than 1/2 inch wider. Remember that only 1/2 of the height increase will decrease the space in the wheel well. These two sizes will fit stock Tundras with 60 mm offset wheels. It looks like TSS wheels have 50 mm offset, so you should not have any rubbing problems.

Good info, thanks buddy! Yea they're a 50mm offset. I tried putting half inch toothpicks that I cut on the front of the tire. I turned the wheel both directions and no contact. Not even on the little front mud guard, so looks like it will work.
