At what % of value is it considered totaled in CO? Here it it 50% My wife smoked a deer 3 months after buying a brand new Honda Odyssey minivan. Did like 16K worth of damage and they repaired it (I think was valued at 35k). I traded it off after we got it back.

Depends on insurance carrier, who is at fault to some degree. If the damaged parts on OP's are limited to chrome bumper cover, hood, fenders, valance, valance metal support bracket, "maybe" the radiator , the easily replaceable support brackets for the upper radiator, new headlights and replaceable support bracket, and "true" bumper end mounting brackets that the chrome cover bolts on to..... then there is a good chance it might get fixed. I've had all those parts off and replaced except my hood and radiator by myself. Shouldn't be a big deal for a repair shop. Front frame damage....game changer but it looks like based upon the pics the contact damage is above the actual "true" bumper bolted to frame end. That bumper can be replaced too quite easily. Curious as well to see final estimate after a full eval.

First, very sorry! Glad you're okay.
Second, Dad did autobody for a living before retiring. That is definitely more than a $10K repair. Hopefully, insurance will total it and provide you a check.
Third, YOU keep this mess and part it out for additional funding towards a newer Tundra!

Sorry about the accident and I’m glad nobody got hurt, but that’s an ´08 and there’s a lot of visible damage plus the damage that we don’t see, so it’s definitely totaled.

Yeah use the payout as a down payment on a new rig. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Thank you all. It surprises me that multiple people think it is valued over what I thought. My truck is a '08 Double cab with 140k miles on it. No major mods. Just basic stuff like remote start and a new touch screen/car play system. Mechanically everything was perfect. In the accident, the radiator was definitely messed up so that is going to be part of the repair total. If it does get totaled, I wouldn't mind the upgrade. Downside is I just paid off the truck a few months ago so it would suck to start payments again haha.

Here in Colorado it is actually 100%. But insurance companies can total it for less obviously.

One of my younger brothers, who is now a school teacher, was a claims adjuster for Farmers for years. So many variables. 50% is typically low. 100% super high. 65 to 70% doable in many cases according to my brother. Depends what got fracked up. Serious frame damage adds on 40 hours labor on a truck if frame has to be replaced. Depends who is at fault. Depends on the quality of the of the body shop. My truck got rear ended. Not my fault. The parties insurance that hit me would and will pay what damages occurred within "reason". I have a lot of leverage in my case what reasonable repairs are....as in make my f'ing truck the way it was before I got reared.

By the way, the brother I'm talking about is named Adam too! I'm Matthew, my dads nickname was "Luke", and my older brother is named Mark. You can probably guess where my 94 year old mom got the names from...

The right upper side near the radiator not looking good....but....still maybe doable. Maybe...get your estimate and post if repairable or totaled. Your Tunny is worth more than you think. Big question....who was at fault?

Unfortunately that would be me at fault. They are looking at it tomorrow so I’ll post the results as soon as I get them.

No clue at all. It split . I didn't have to deal that. Up to the pro's now. Not sure if that is a easy fix. None of it is....suxs.

To replace just the rad support if you go with OEM parts your prob going to be close to $2500 they are weld in and need to be cut out first. Kind of labor intensive. Pretty much have to strip off all the front sheet metal rad ac condenser pretty much everything off the front

It prob needs a fan as well
With everything I can see excluding the possible frame damage I’m thinking in the $8500-$10k range

I’m guessing $6k and not totaled.
Don’t think it was actuatualy stated but guessing air bags were not deployed.

Edit.. my actual guess for the contest is $6,380
