Looking to raise the front a bit on my 17' SR5. The truck is not used offroad. Its equipped with Firestone air bags in the rear for towing.

I dont want to start playing with taking the factory struts apart.

Im currently looking at these spacers that fit between the factory strut mount and the frame.

    2" spacers

    Any cons to using these?

Received the 2" kit yesterday along with the diff drop kit. Ordered from Ebay, Everything was about 60 shipped which was about half the cost if you ordered it direct from MotoFab. Hardware looks ok, I was hoping for something corrosion resistant. The hardware is 8.8 and regular black steel.

The spacer is 1.25" thick but it says it lifts it 2"?? We'll have to see.

Install was straightforward, I ended up doing in the garage because its cold out. Some of the nuts and bolts that need to be loosened are tough to get off. My truck has 9500 miles and its never been driven in the rain/snow and it was still tough. I put the truck back on the ground about 2am this morning, I didnt get to drive it yet just waiting for it all to settle after a drive. Ill take measurements before and after and report back.

    Stock
    Front - 36.5
    Rear - 39.25

    After lift
Front - will edit after drive
Rear - will edit after drive

Are you getting the front alignment checked after the spacer install?

Cant go wrong for the money. My truck will never see offroad since there is not much here on Long Island.

yes, none of the adjusters had to be moved but still doing it as a precaution

    Reporting back after a drive.

Truck looks like it should of came this way from the factory. No difference in ride.

Height for the front is 38.5 for the front. So exactly 2" rise using a 1.25" spacer. I was a bit skeptical but it works!

How are you liking the lift after a few months?
    How was the install?
Did you have to use spring compressors or could you turn the shock via bottom eye mount?
    Thank you
