Groceries Storage & Tundra Rail System

    Hi All, anyone know if a good groceries storage system that would tie into my Tundra Rail System. I am thinking I’d like it at the back of the truck under my toneau cover, but secured to the rail system so it doesn’t move around or tip over. Thoughts?

    Just get a bed extender and have it folded inwards in the bed. That’s how I do it...

    Yep, or a cargo divider. But they aren’t compatible with covers that use rail relocation brackets. I’ve also seen people make their own cargo dividers with a 2x6, etc.

    Bed extender is definitely the way to go. I had one leftover from my old Silverado and adapted to fit my CM. Couldn’t live without it.

    For a cheap version you can get a 2 x 6, 2 x 8 or 2 x 10 and slip it into the slots on the drivers and passenger side behind the wheel wells. There’s also a spot in front of them. At Costco they sell collapsible crates that will fit perfect behind the piece of wood. Then when you don’t need it it’s out-of-the-way.

    I bought a couple of heavy storage bins from Home Depot and keep them under my tonneau all the time. I attach to bed hooks with bungee cords so I can pull them out. They work great for groceries or anything else you want semi protected. I just take them out if hauling something really big.
