    Hell of a setup.
I worked for a guy that hauled a fifth wheel to all the jobsites. Every 2-3 days it was being relocated. I think i loved his airbags/built in compressor more than he did. Lol.

I can only imagine how many hours i have spent turning a fifth wheel crank since ive been remodeling. Better half of 22 years worth.

    Hello,
I have a 2015 Trd pro Inferno I have the Firestone ride rite kit#2811 what I kneed for the bags to fit properly without damaging them over stretching etc. Truck is lifted from factory. Sd Truck springs told me I needed 4inch lift spears to make it work since they do not make a triple bellow air bag? Any idea

I don’t have that set up I have kit 2811 hbu bolts to the spring set. I’m just worried about it not having the suspsension travel of the truck. I was told to get axle spacers to make it work

All airbags bolt to the springs, unless you get cradles.

Do I have to go with the cradles or would the axle spacers be ok as well. I’m being told axle spacers is the solution?

The cradle is separate from the bag. The bag will free float then?

correct, the cradle gets bolted to the top of the leaf spring, and the bag stays attached to the mount on the frame so when the suspension droops out the bag floats free... see the videos below

Here’s my issue I have the trd pro tho. There’s way to much of a distance I’m being told. So cradles on the pro will work no issue?

ha, yeah they work.. .i had the cradles with a 5" lift and they worked great... I wouldn't have suggested them otherwise. Whoever told you they won't work because you have a pro should not be listened to for advice any further.

I know you don't know me, but I'm one of the very few on this site who actually built their truck completely on their own to include many mods no one else had ever done. I'm here to help! Along with I've built multiple t com member trucks.

Search my threads in my signature so you can get an idea of what I do. I won't suggest things if I didn't know what I'm talking about or know its already a tried and true solution.

Pro sits the same as other non pro tundras in the rear. Only lift difference is the front. I have a 1.5” lift in the rear and my airbags sit right in the cradles. I have the air lift ones. No spacer needed.

Hey guys, new to the forum and I had a question about airbags. Just found this thread in a search.

I was concerned about the ride quality with airbags when not towing. I've heard it can cause bucking issues and a stiffer, bouncier ride overall.

Seems like the Daystar cradles solve this by being free-floating? But how do they work for towing? Seems like once you start airing up the bags they eventually settle into the cradle and provide the necessary lift...do I have that right?

@vasilakiTrdPro did you end up installing the Firestone Ride-Rite with the cradle? Thats the same set up i'm looking at

@papasmurf sounds like you know a lot of stuff. Let me pick ur brain. I have a trd pro and added the coachbuilder shackles on the back. I think they are +3. I just bought a 30ft travel trailer and weights almost 10k pounds. If I add the airbags do I have to change my shocks? Do I have to change the gears? What do you recommend I do to my truck ta make sure I don't F it up! Thank you. Any suggestions from the community welcomed

    fairly easy

Don’t need to change your shocks
Add airbags w day star cradles
Regear to 4.88’s would be best
