Yeah I just ordered it thanks to you LOL. You guys are all great thank you so much. I'll post up a pic once done. Do these work with the stainless steel lines if I decide on that later?

I am trying to put mine on but am wondering how you got the piece on the baby bump on? I am trying but the black lines aren't moving, it's almost like I have to bend them?

I just literally have to turn them upside down, right? Just the two closest to the center or do I have to touch the ends?

Can you look at @agentcox000 photo in this thread, it looks like you guys have the brackets in different spots? And okay just the ones right on the sides of the axle, what about the ones under the leaf packs?

To everyone with the U748 Deaver springs... Do you get any axle wrap when accelerating from a stop?
I met a guy on the trail that was telling me that his U748s had some wrap. Since then I've noticed a slight shutter when accelerating from a dead stop. If I can figure out how, I'll probably mount a camera under the body to see what is happening back there w/ the angle of the diff.

Anyone running 5160's with either of the two leaf packs? If so, what shackles are you using as well? I know the shock says it is good for 0-1.5" of lift that's why.

This info helped, big time! I'm thinking of getting the 6112/5160 combo and at the same time getting either K37's or U748 with an aftermarket shackle. I'm wondering, since the 5160's in the rear are good for 0-1.5" of lift, what shackle should I go with to get the 1.5" of lift in the rear?

Coachbuilders +2, Toytec, Camburg, Total Chaos will do for the 1.5" lift area. I'm running Coachbuilders +3 which is yielding 1.75" of lift, but just recently received Toytec Shackles that can bring me back down to 1.5"

Question, I’m looking at k37’s but I only want maybe 1” of total lift. What shackles should I be looking at? I’m currently running the toytec shackles

I believe the K37s are at 1.5" minimum. Dont think you're able to go down to 1". Unless someone cam chime in and say so. Most aftermarket shackles provide 1.5" of lift.

MCM or TC is what is recommended. I run MCM myself. I got about 1" lift.

Maybe I'll get the Camburg 1.5" shackles. If the 5160's are good for up to 1.5" of lift, if I get a little more lift than that will it be bad? I am head set on the 6112/5160 combo but am trying to figure out my rear suspension. I've heard good things about Deaver. The TC shackles are 3/4" and the Camburg ones are 1.5" Do the leaf packs themselves give any lift?

So the springs themselves yield no lift? It just matters what shackles you get in terms of lift height?

The deaver advertised lift is based around using a shackle that is 1.25" longer than stock, which is roughly a 3/4" shackle. Any of the longer shackles will cause the leaf springs to have more negative arch, it alters the spring rate of the leafs, and can cause other issue. I do not recommend running any of the +2 or +3 shackles with the deavers. The deavers require a longer than stock shackle though as the main leaf is longer than stock, so you can not run the stock shackles with the deavers.

I have U748s on order and I'm currently on the +3 (1.75") coachbuilders shackles, but those will be removed once the U748s comes in and will be paired with appropriate shackles.

Interesting! Glad I get to learn the dynamics of all this. So the TC shackle is 3/4” long and if the Deaver packs are paired with them will give me about 1.25 inches of actual lift?

Ah okay okay. That’s why I’m thinking, and correct me if I’m wrong, I’m going to get schackles that are 1.5” in actual lift height and pair it with either the K37’s or U748’s. That combo will give me the 1.5” of lift that I’m looking for in the rear with the Bilstein 5160’s

Shackles that net 1.5” of Lift are about 3” longer than stock and not recommended by most with Deavers.
