I'm looking into this now myself. You can buy the Viper from Amazon for $199, can anyone ballpark what the install cost would be?

If anyone is in Maryland. W.S.S. Westminster Speed and Sound. They installed a basic one way Compustar remote. Does exactly what I want. It sure is nice to have my remote start back.

I just bought my 2015 TSS 5.7 3 weeks ago, first thing I got put in was tint and a remote start alarm. South Texas heat/humidity is crazy so it's almost a necessity when you have kids especially. I have the Viper 5706v I'm happy with it. It has a smart start app that's available that can lock/unlock and remote start your truck from an app on your phone. You can even add GPS to it and track speed and location.

I got the viper 5706v installed on mine last year, no problems but me breaking the LCD screen on the FOB :(
Even had them setup up rear defroster on/off from the FOB and keep the factory beep!! The viper horn was killing me.

You mean you kept the Toyota factory arm/disarm sound?
