Had a 2017 Tacoma put 45k miles on in 8 months...traded that in..2018 CM SR5 Cement. Dealer gave me 32 for taco I paid 35 for it. Paid 41 OTD for the Tundra. Currently in Dickinson, ND. Working the oil fields.

    Plans

    -(Suspension)-
    MCM M/T kit
    MCM UCA ADS 3.0 front-✔️
2.5 rear triple bypass with U748-
    Rear frame support-

    -(Misc)-
    Decked bed box
    BedCage
    Katzkin Leather Black

    -(Armor/Recovery)-
    Front and rear bumpers
    Smittybilt 12k winch
    White Knuckle Sliders
    Budskids

    -(Lighting/Electrical)-
    Some baja designs lights
    Switch Pros
    Group 31M

I’m sure there will eventually be more.

Toyo Open Country MT 37’s. 37/12.50R17 Icon Six Speed wheels. I know there’s no MPG to be had with these trucks to begin with so that’s not a factor. I’ve run those tires for quite some time in very sharp rocks, with ruts and supremely washed out roads. I drive over 200 miles a day for work in ND very diverse weather. No flats, no chunks out of tread from scoria rock. Guys without good tires get flats weekly at times.

Currently 36k miles will be at 40k come the new year.

Finally made the time to install the front mid travel kit on Homer. Did the entire job with hand tools and it was quite simple. Used a rathchet strap to pull the lower control arms together to put the new ADS coilovers on.

Make sure to take your battery out. It’ll make taking the the drivers side uca out much easier.

Taking everything off is quite easy solo, however having an extra pair of hands to help put the UCA’s on makes doing so a breeze.

I didn’t adjust the 3.0’s at all and it seems just about perfectly level with the rear OEM. Looking forward to completing the kit with Deavers and Tripple bypass in the rear.

Be sure to have a higher than normal lifting jack or some blocks to use to lift up higher. Especially if you’re running bigger tires. I needed to make blocks for my jack stands and a block for my jack to lift the truck higher for the 37’s.

It was late when I finished and I wanted to go test it out. So that’s the reason for lack of photos. I also wanted to video it all and have a step by step however it’s hard to get motivated to do that when it’s freezing out and getting it done fast is important.

How much lift over stock in the after pic?when flexed, after the BMC and everything does it rub at all? That’s exactly the look I’m going for!

I think it’s around 2 1/2-3” with this coil over set up. With my BMC and trimming that I did I just bairley rub on the body mount. I did a very subtle chop, need about another inch or so and there won’t be any rubbing lock to lock.

Nice! Do you have any more pics of how you trimmed the pinch weld?

Damn 200 miles a day? I hope you have the big fast tank and maybe a auxiliary tank. I have the 26 gallon and I'd have to fill up every day of I drove the miles you do. I have no lift, Michelin defender in 33" and in cold weather I get 11mpg, about maybe 14 in the summer.
Nice truck btw, those 37s look bad ass stuffed in there

What offset did you end up getting the wheels? Do you have any side picks of how much the tire sticks out

I have 37x12.50R17 so they stick out a bit more than I’d like with the amount of driving I do off road. Rocks chipping your own windshield side windows, mud, dust, dirt. However if you’re just going for looks than great. I’d say about an inch and half or so.

    Icon Six Speed 17 x 8.5
    5.75” back space 25mm offset

They make these wheels to be able to fit 35” tires with no run whatsoever.
