No issues with front sway bar. With 2” lift you wouldn’t need new upper control arms or front diff drop. Stick with 33” diameter or smaller and you will be good.

Awesome truck and great pics! For a 4/2, do you think I could squeeze 35s in there with some new UCAs? Currently offset is +50 with the stock aluminum wheels, but the wheels I eventually want to go to are +12 I believe. Thanks for any responses.

I am more concerned with 2" leveling or 3/1 lift and how it affects brake lines, control arms, long term wear and tear etc. is there book or utube to explain this to me. I know there are several types of lifts but do not want to have to relocate brake lines etc.

    2" front level lift only:
    • No changes to brake lines
    • No need for aftermarket upper control arms
    • No need for front differential drop
    • No need for carrier bearing drop
    • Minimal to no change to wear and tear
    3/1 lift kit:
    • No changes to brake lines
    • Aftermarket upper control arms are recommended. If extending over 3" they become required to
    • Front differential drop is recommended
    • Carrier bearing drop is case by case. Only really need if you feel drive line vibrations
    • Minimal change to wear and tear. Increased CV angle does add additional stresses.

10" BAMuffler // Bilstein 5100s all around & front on Mid setting // Toytec shackles // BHLM
Put Bilstein 5100s on middle setting about a year ago and measurements to the WW are as follows:

    Before 5100s:
    Driver Front - 36 3/4
    Passenger Front - 36 1/2
    Driver Rear - 39
    Passenger Rear - 40 1/8

    After 5100s:
    Driver Front: 38 3/8
    Passenger Front: 38 5/8
    Driver Rear: 39 1/4
    Passenger Rear: 39 1/4

After leveling I put a fiberglass Shell/Cap on and the truck looked perfectly level. What I didn't like was when hooked up to our TT, even with WDH, i was nose high. So my fix was to add the Toytec shackles to the rear using the top setting for 1.5" lift. This essentially gave me back the factory rake and looks better when the TT is hooked up.

I'm about to install this gear and would love some opinions. I'd like it to sit as high and possible and I'd like the nose slightly lower than the rear or level. Should I use the full 3/1 that this kit provides or just a portion of it?

Measurements before lift with old tires:
Front wheel well height 35 7/8"
Front Space between tire and top wheel well 5 1/4
    Tire height 31"
Front Wheel well width 38 1/4

Rear wheel well height 39 7/8"
Rear Space between tire and top wheel well 8 3/4
    Tire height 31"
Rear Wheel well width 38 7/8"

What I would do is install the front 3" and measure, that should put the rear about 1" higher which will be pretty unnoticeable. Don't put the rear spacer in, if you like the look..

So I just bought a 2008 Tundra Limited Crewmax. trying to figure out which BDS lift it has. Measurements on front -middle of hub to fender is 25". Rear middle of hub to fender is 26". Rear ground to fender is 43", Front 41" with 35x18 tires. Based on these measurements what size lift do you think this might have?

    Hey,
Im still trying to figure out some stuff about this lift. I know I have the BDS 4.5 or 7 inch lift because the smaller lifts don't come with the BDS skid plate.

Anyone got a 4.5 inch lift that can take a pic of their measurements to the fender from the center of the hub and from the ground?

Also, wondering if anyone has pics and measurements of a 2nd gen on a 4.5inch lift (or a 7") with 33's? Trying to see if it would look goofy or not. Kinda would love to run a 33" MT if I could. Dont want to have to switch tires and wheels for towing... but worried I have too much lift and it will look weird. Hopefully someone here has some pics or experience with a 4.5 in lift and 33s? or 275/70/18 (stock right?)

I bought my truck over the summer and I know it's got a front spacer. Looks like probably a 2" spacer. Based on my measurements, it seems the rear is lifted too. Can someone identify what rear lift it looks like?

    My measurements;
    275/70/18 tires
    Front fender center-ground; 38.75"
Rear fender center - ground; 40"
