Whats up guys. I'm looking for input on trouble shooting a headlight issue. My right side low beam head blew out the other day and I went to replace it today with a new one and it still doesnt work. I actually tried two new bulbs and still nothing. I checked the fuse and even changed the fuse as they sometimes look fine when in fact they are bad. I am not really a mechanic and even farther from an electrician. Any input will be appreciated , thanks.

Check the old bulb. It may still be good also. try the old bulb on the left side or use a meter or visual inspection or use a 9v smoke detector battery ... Sounds like wiring or plug issue. Have you recently done anything in that area or new wiring for sometging, etc. Maybe mouse chewing something? ... How old is your car. If you have a meter you can check at the voltage at the plug but if not what I said above works pretty good.

in general try not to touch the bulbs (the glass) with your hand or get oil on them. It can cause future problems ...

The bulb is indeed shot it was an LED and you can visually see where it has gone bad. I'm sure I wore latex gloves when I installed them or at least made sure not to touch the glass with my hands (made that mistake before lol). The lights are 2 years old and the truck is a 2014. It seems that when the bulb blew it must have fried the plug which I've never seen happen before you would think it would have blown the fuse. I'm gonna try a new plug and if that don't work I'm gonna put it in Toyota's hands. Thanks guys.

Must be the plug then ... I don't have much experience with LEDs when it comes to high power LED or headlights ... I've used little leds for interior lighting. I don't think the led bulb gets very hot but the base of it may get very hot so I'm not sure if touching is still an issue with LEDs or not but better be on safe side. Either way I knew touching was not your problem ... just additional info you already knew.
