My thoughts exactly, they’re very similar to the Tacoma’s and could easily use their reservoir and hose. The fitting is already there on the 2.5’s, just need to remove and add an adaptor for the hose. I think.

Glad to hear yours have stood up to some abuse. I live by the saying: better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. Reservoirs would be a nice to have.

315’s have been on my radar but I like pizza cutters and they’re only 1/2” taller than the 75’s, at least for Maxx’s. I don’t need the extra 1.5” in width. Plus don’t want to tub the firewall or anything drastic.

Wheel spacers aren’t that bad or dangerous. I put over 80k on my 4Runner using Spidertrax spacers with no issues at all. What wheels are you running now?

Yeah the width just adds to more clearance get and additional weight.

I agree spacers aren’t bad (quality spacers) or dangerous if installed properly and checked over and over. But just add another layer of possible failure if something is overlooked.

Spider trax 1.25” sit in my Amazon cart. I haven’t reached the point to order them quite yet lol. But with the 34s they would make the truck look great haha

I’m running the MB 352s. I think they’re 4.5” backspace with -12mm offset. I keep eyeing the SCS Ray 10s but would rather spend $1250 on something more needed

Sell the MB’s and the SCS’s wouldn’t be $1250. Just don’t choose the bronze Ray 10’s.

If only it were that easy! I just need to find someone who will take my wheels and tires so I can upgrade faster...

Haha no worries! I’ll be sticking with the jet black! (Brushes Gold would be fun for a while....)

Did you stack 2 shims on the drivers side coilover? Do our trucks have the notorious drivers side lean?

Negative. Just 1 per side. My truck does not have the lean. It’s pretty level luckily

I ordered 3 total, just in case I have a lean. Read that some do, some don’t.

Is your truck leaning as is right now? What suspension set up are you running?

Did you email CB to get the shims for the first gen? I accidentally ordered the newer gen tundra shims first... oops... lol

I’m bone stock. I haven’t measured but there doesn’t seem to be a lean. I need to fill her up and take some measurements.

I emailed with David all morning and he hooked me up. He recommended 2 on the drivers side. I did some searching and found plenty of guys on TS that had 1/4-1/2” lean after lifting. Others had no lean. At least I’ll have it if I need it.

Yeah I’ve seen a first gen that had a terrible driver side lean. I’ve also seen a 3rd gen with a drivers side lean.

But hopefully you won’t need it but if you do, you’re prepared.

Are you going to Run ICONs?

GOOd choice. I’m very happy with mine. And they’ve held up to some good abuse over 1.5yrs.

I knew I was going with ICON before you were a member on here. I saw your profile in SGU and that confirmed it for me. Now I hear it firsthand and it solidified my decision.

All jokes aside, we’ve had plenty of near stock vehicles on our trips. We never leave anyone behind. Some just head down the trail much quicker than the rest haha.

@osidepunker is the one usually waiting for others (me) and by the time you catch up he’s heating up a burrito, making coffee or taking a leak. Waiting for someone to catch up isn’t going to ruin a solid weekend trip

Yeah I don't know why people are so self conscious about that. I enjoy getting out of my truck stretching my legs and enjoying the view. Its not a big deal to wait for people to catch up

Maybe they know it's so hit or miss for our trucks. With my Fox it was a pain finding good space to put them, since I didn't have the plastic inner liners anyway I just ditched my windshield washer bucket and went there. Most people wouldn't want to do that.

I've talked to a few others with the same, most had trouble keeping the hose clear of the tires. The one guy who didn't had the skinny 255 tires and not much backspace.
