Agreed on TRd sounds Good when your on it and subtle when driving, I am told the there are a few products out that can be annoying on a long drive.

I ordered my dirty deeds 8'' system in last month's group buy. I'll let you know how it sounds once I get it in, but from all my research I did on exhausts Dirty Deeds was hands down the one brand everyone loves around here.

    Stock, for now
Saving for a TRD or a Borla. I agree that “best” is subjective. Whats best for you? The only way to not male a mistake is to ride on tricks with different systems.

Only regret is I wish I would have known about them sooner so I would have not thrown 1400. 00 on 2 previous set ups

Dirtydeeds BAmuffler or bust man. I have his 6" and it's really nice, great sound, no drone, well engineered, no power loss, budget friendly, and awesome customer service. Keith will let you trade in your exhaust if you decide you don't like the sound. I have the 6" catback and it's a little loud for me so I just ordered an 8" to try. You won't be disappointed, and like @Rica25 said, just order it off the bat, if not you'll just be wasting your money and time on other kits you'll end up replacing

I have the TRD duals and love them. Can’t go wrong with a DirtyDeeds system though either. I’d stick to one of those two though as they seem to be the best bet for the tundra. There are probably a hundred threads on here about the same topic if you want to search and see what people are saying.
If possible, try to hear them in person. I went to the dealer and test drove a truck with the TRD system. I’m sure there are plenty of guys running DirtyDeeds in your area.

I got the Borla....love it. similar sound to the trd when you start the engine but low drone and nice sound when you give it gas - just the way I like it. don't want to be the annoying neighbour

I do a lot of highway driving as well and the Borla is great

i have a 2014 extended cab long bed and i have the ba muffler. i went with the budget system. i bought it used from another member. i love it. i however do get some drone on the highway. not bad and it has never bothered me. maybe it has to do with the length of my exhaust system being the longest toyota makes, or that i do not have dual exhaust. great sound though.

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
Over the years I've tried different brands and setups but when it comes to Toyota, I'd stick with TRD. Good quality and good sound if you do not want anything annoying. I'm also getting older so that may have something to do with it....

Agree. I just wish I knew they had black pipes as an option before I installed mine.

Dirty Deeds 10” for the folks over the hill
I’m damn near 40 and wanted something quiet. I told Keith exactly what I wanted my truck to sound like, and he was spot-on when recommending the 10” system.

I have dirty deeds industries exhaust on my 2013 tundra with x-pipe and 2 1/2" duals out the passenger side.
I really like it! I had borla pro xs duals out the back but had a problem with one being loose inside and rattling.borla wouldn't replace it so I went with BAMufflers and I don't regret it.Rumble sound when drive regular but lets you know when you get in it!

I couldn’t get the black tips anywhere when buying my truck in early October. Three dealerships tried for me and told me the same thing- that the black tipped TRD exhausts were so new they were all locked up nationwide and being held only for 2019 builds. They each found 600 plus in inventory, but the system would not let them order. That may have have changed now, but I’m happy as the stainless looks great and if I get sick of it, they are easy to paint.
