Got my bullydog gt installed. Any tips on tune settings or setups? I have everything on performance currently. Regular gas setup.

Thanks for your help with that. I kept 'em on the phone 'til install was complete. I'm liking the dumped pipes you made for me too!

Do you run it with premium gas? Or regular?

I'm cheap. I'm actually still on the same tank since the install.

Lol I hear ya. One of the reasons why I didn't have the premium tune installed long. I would check to make sure running 87 on the premium tune isn't going to hurt anything. Everywhere I read said it was bad news running that for long periods of time.

Thanks. Though it seems to be running fine I'm gonna take your advice and either switch the tune, or run premium.

Where do you find custom tunes to download for the tundra? Someone had had to figure out the Best tunes for them by now.

I don't think BD will support custom tunes.

Bully Dog, dap tuning, Vivid racing seem to be the current players in the game for tunes.

If I recall there is a tuning program that allows you the end-user to do custom tuning, but I don't recall there being many other options for people out there to do a custom tune aside from what they already put out as a provider to the end user

Hi all. I’m a noob when it comes to this stuff. I’ve got 2013 tundra 5.7 sr5. Installed the gt. I basically only use the truck for work and tow a dbl axl 7x14x7 trailer. Just wondering if:
    1. The settings I used are optimal for fuel economy and
    2. With these settings what octane fuel should I use?

Do you have to run premium fuel on the trail tune or can you use 87 octane.

Run premium. Trail is performance tune just stock fuel curve so it doesn’t go lean with headers.
