Here is the first video I found on it's release with specs. Just announced officially at the LA auto show.

There is a testing facility near our lab. A few months ago I pulled right next to one at a stop light. The front and rear was camo'd and the bed was covered. Like I couldn't guess what I was seeing? I gave the driver a thumbs up. Looked cool but nothing like the JP Gladiators from the 70's which were bad ass trucks.

My good buddy had one of those. He built and dropped a 350 and Muncie 4 spd in it. I still think it was a great looking truck.

Meh.. The concept from 10 years ago looked better.

Having driven Chrysler vehicles for 20 years and dealt with stupid issues for that long, no thanks.

I agree. I was hoping for more of a Comanche look like that one.

I pass one every time I go up Apex Valley Rd. About a half mile up. Still looks bad ass. The "Honcho" version. The Cherokee Honcho was bad ass too.

Basically an old CJ7 with a bed. Difference is the CJ7 was better and that's not sayin much.

I’m probably alone here. But I like it. I wouldn’t buy it but it looks pretty functional. Still a little too long in the wheelbase for serious stuff, but I would rent one and rock the crap out of it. I like all those cubbyholes and lockbox. The outlet in the bed and in the cab is cool as well as that Bluetooth speaker.

I know my wife would like it. But I bet it looks huge in person. That’s what she said.

That's why the longer wheel base CJ7 didn't go over so well. Yogi B....."Deja Vu all over again" almost 45+years later and only difference us Bluetooth capability. Meh

Yeah it would be much cooler with a little V8 there. No thanks on that diesel piece of shit either. You know it’s going to fail.

As a die hard Jeeper who can never make up his mind between owning a Jeep and a truck, this speaks to me. I would opt for the 3.0 Eco diesel. I had a 2016 JKU Black Bear; it was nice but felt/sounded like a minivan. Nothing like the I6 4.0 But I'm sure this puppy will start out in the high $30s and prolly top out near $50 for a JTR. I bet it'll be way popular for overland folks and be fair competition for Tacomas. I'll keep my spacious and reliable Tundra... for now.

Looks cool but I wouldn't touch it with a stolen dick. The Woman's uncle is a sales manager at a Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealership. The stories he tells me...let's just say there's a reason he drives a GMC and doesn't even take the manager demo Ram truck that's offered to him.

Reminds me. I think it's about time for me to give him is bi-monthly shit for not buying a Toyota.

Neat for jeep lovers. Kind of the worst of both worlds imo. Too long for trail jeeping. Small box and kind of small overall for a full blown truck...

1970 JP "real" Gladiator..............only truck that came with factory tires at the time that kicked ass. Do your own home work to see what was standard and the options. I'm too busy cooking a 7lb ham with @Pudge syrup poured all over it and smoked thick cut bacon wrapping it to keep it comfy..............[IMG]
