Question for all of you guys who have experience in tire repair. I have a pinhole that needs repaired on a rear tire. The spot is next to the colored looking bubble in the picture. The hole is literally the size of a pinhole closest to the bubble. Can this be repaired and if so what method do you guys suggest?

I don't think the tire place will fix it because it's on the side.

Generally, you should not plug holes in the sidewall. But that’s very close to the tread, so tough call.

I agree with most of the above. Liability has changed the rules for tire repairs. Not only can sidewalls not be repaired, an in or so in from the sidewall will no longer be repaired. Tires 5 yrs. or older are no longer repaired either. I think the tire in question will make a great spare though.
