    Insane power and tq ratings.

This is the way Toyota will go in the next generation Tundra and do to the domestic trucks like what happened in 2007.

If Toyota does something like this, there might be a for sale sign on a Duramax.

    37’s stock suspension

    37/12.50R17 Icon 6speed wheels. With a BMC.

Just sayin, little to no rub and the fitment couldn’t look better. Honestly haven’t really felt a ludicrous amount of power loss like everyone speaks of, and my transmission shifts just fine. I drive 200 miles daily. Around 50 off-road lease roads in the oil fields.

Interesting truck. It looks like a Ridgeline and Tacoma’s illigitimate child in my opinion, but the numbers are interesting. It’s not even priced way out of the market if you compare to other pickups that have 750 hp and front and rear lockers... ... or equivalent.

Not outrageous compared to other trucks.

Could you imagine tire replacements cost all the time?

    Interesting..
Not your type of truck for a DIY guy.. Getting it off the floor with a floor jack ain't happening.. Changing those damn tires will be a bitch period, probably would require tesla type road service which take 3+ damn hours or days if you are somewhat remote.

I'd really like to see where it goes. Electric is the new trend that's for sure. I'd love to take this thing wheeling, fire road, a little bit of crawling, some lightweight washboards, and see how it does in the dunes. Would be cool to see it develop into an off road type of vehicle. For now I see it as a great EXPENSIVE contractor's truck that can haul some heavy loads while being fancy looking for the customers to see.

They have a base in San Jose. I would like to check them out one day.

I’m going to make the assumption that you’ll be able to select performance level, much like a Tesla. With smooth power, traction control and true AWD that 4 individual motors offer , it would probably not be too bad on tire wear if you stayed out of their version of “ludicrous mode”. Turned up on “self-clean” though... :eek2: And hard on the neck.

My thoughts exactly when I read about this truck yesterday. Not only will modifications be difficult, if even possible, but it's nothing more than a giant appliance. If you have issues with it, you're either paying out the nose to get it fixed or rolling it to the junk yard.

My thoughts are how long will the batteries last before they no longer hold a charge? Five years? Eight years? What's the cost on that battery pack?

It might have a 400+ mile range under ideal conditions but I'm doubting that'll happen when towing heavy loads or a fully loaded payload. It would be interesting to see if it is even remotely possible to charge it with solar power for over-landing and how long that would take.

Those headlights are hideous. Well, most of the truck is as well so I guess it doesn't matter.
