Not sure how interesting this is to some but I’m gonna make a thread and post/keep track of the progress I make on my tundra as it goes.

Last day with the Slomaro, which is waiting to be rebuilt, and first day with the Trooper05808AAB-2896-43FE-BE5F-846C838D3B24.jpg
Obvs had to get a pic of them stuntin together before any of their modsF2E6CF54-99C2-4E30-B2CC-F983EF49F5A2.jpg FD0AB265-36AD-4AFD-B205-42ED20179D0B.jpg
First job was to get rid of as much chrome as possibleEAFA6354-7C06-49BD-B796-219DDE18153B.jpg
Small thing but got some rubber floor mats. So much easier to clean than carpet and looks so much betterDD92C9F6-C0D4-4A52-A113-B5FC18A96E53.jpg
Changed out the giant grandpa shifter these dang trucks come with and painted the chrome here3FDF7A2A-64B9-41CB-879A-B428214E41A6.jpgFound out about TVDvinyl and got black stickers to cover the air vent chrome and steering wheel emblem. Also got some white ones so I could officially black out the rest of the chrome. And of course a shorty antennae, but that was one of the first small things. 4A08E853-60D6-4F27-96EC-B898B177CA3D.jpgSome amazing all terrains, huge improvement on the street tires.

Weather tech window guards and a Softopper!! Installed the topper myself yesterday.
Pictures aren’t totally in order but oh well

Oh yeah also, seat covers. These are right after I put them in. If anyone’s interested I could get some pics of them loaded. Got some tools and weapons and lots of cool stuff to use for camping or the apocalypse or whatever comes first lol

I’ve got a remote starter kit to put in, 2018 headlights and fog lights, and a bumper on its way in the mail right meow. However my led bulbs and wire harness from @iHacker should be here tonight so I’ll get the truck looking hella snazzy.
On a side note I might have the worst ability to make a thread of mods in order. I’ve got blue LEDs to light up my floor when needed and of course my exhaust is done. D0C8471C-5497-41BB-9494-8AA6FD3A2283.jpgCat back true dual with magnaflow bullets. Other little things are tinted plate cover and visor tint and back window tint (really to protect the glass from my dogs noses)

Thanks! 4261524E-1DFE-429D-B425-BD83267B8A3F.jpgHere’s my Camaros future engine. Upgrading from an old barely taken care of v6 to a v8. Gonna give it actual Camaro power lol it’ll be a drag car. Also featuring the white truck crew required for building a Camaro lol

I love all the touches you've put on so far; great looking truck!

How are you liking those new tires? The Falken AT3s are on my list of possible tire choices.

I love them. In the engine picture, that’s my friends ram and he had them and so I got them from his recommendation. They last long and are nice and quiet. Plus they look great

That’s a freaking stunner! Mine says going to Basically be a sleeper. I’ll put a scoop on my hood to fit the new engine and most likely put some black stripes on it and fix up my exhaust with cherry bombs I’ve got

Re: Trooper - title of your post
Btw, even though I have since saw the light and am now on my 2nd Tundra, I miss the 2 Isuzu Troopers that I had (last year model was 2002)

I love this tundra haha. My first car is that Camaro and this truck is my second. Own them both so that’s pretty great. Get to spend extra cash monies on upgrades. I call it a storm trooper but I know that’s also what a lot of people call the black and white look so I call it the trooper to not get too much crap haha

Thanks! Got them on eBay for like 135$
Had to do some adjusting with the rope sides but I like them for being able to hold hella things on the back. Got some axes and a machete and lantern and lots of basic hand tools and then random things from work that I felt like having there haha

It’s amazing! Such a difference. Glad I checked the marketplace randomly and saw these lights haha
Got LEDs installed too on all my other lights besides the cab light but that’s only because the softopper is up and I don’t wanna mess with it.
