I realize there will be extra motorized stuff but just looking to verify the frame/springs are the same on Plat/Limited models. I'm looking at trying platinum seat cushions and maybe Katzkins to alleviate the misery I feel on long trips in the Limited. Before ordering the cushions I'm hoping to make sure the frame itself isn't part of what makes those seats feel better.

If anyone has pics of actual platinum seat cushions that would be fantastic.

If this doesn't work I'm gonna try to find a used Platinum to trade on so if it costs me $1500 to give my truck comfortable seats well then i'll do it. Tired of sitting on top of these hateful things.

    Thanks,

I'd say it doesn't stretch. feels plasticky. Looks fine, at least to me, but for whatever reason the seats just suck ass on long trips. I sat in an f150 with cloth buckets the other day and I was like man why am I suffering with these Toyota seats.

Oh yes I can understand that feel!

The Platinum and 1794 trims do have softer leather and are perforated which makes the more supple.

I am changing trims because I did not want a Limited.
Getting an SR5 trim with cloth seats so I don't have to hassle with heated & cooling seats.
