I will likely need to own a Runner/Lexus GX/Landcruiser before I shuffle off for the last time... :woot:

I've had a 3rd gen, 2 4th gen's now (both v8), and a 5th gen. The 5th gen had the most gadgets and gizmo's, the 3rd gen was definitely the most basic and needed the most work....and I halfway had buyers remorse the whole time I owned him. I never should have traded the 1st 4th gen on the 5th gen. Was the dumbest move on my part. Hindsight and all that. This one drives nice, looks nice, feels nice.....has a couple little creaks and groans I'm gonna work out of him (door squeaks, etc...) but nothing super major.

Pudge, I picked mine up from another 4runner forum member. 9k for an 08 is low. I paid almost 9 for this 05. comparable 05/06's can go for 12k+

Not sure yet Chris. Maybe a size or two bigger, but not much. I'd like to retain most of the pretty nice fuel mileage that I get! I averaged 19MPG on the way home from NJ.

Lol. You have nothing to worry about Pat.

I’ve been on the “other” Toyota site today. Lots of appreciation for the way you all conduct yourselves. :hattip:
