Is that all that is needed for gears? The other companies are selling this between $1000 and $1300 just for the gears, master rebuild kit and bearings. Not including the auburn

If you are some what mechanically skilled try east coast differenterial. They sell complete rear pumpkins with different options/ choices of gears and lockers. Just ship them your old rear end for a core and they will ship you new one. Or pay a core charge and send them yours after you install new one

Just scheduled a slot for next week at Colo axle and gear for them to figure out my slop. I'll probably stay stock ratio, by their recommendation (only on 33s), but add an LSD for myself for Christmas...

Cant hold off on a mod while I've got the chance:D

Hey fellas! I've been reading about re-gearing the rear ends and LSD and I'm new to owning a truck, What effect does the auburn pro LSD and 4:88 gears have over the factory setup? This my daily driver and I will probably never go off road with it. I plan on putting 22" wheels with a aggressive street or AT tire and leveling the front. Right now I have 20" BBS wheels. My objective is to make it accelerate like a monster! I appreciate any suggestions.

Get the supercharger to accelerate like a monster. LSD and 488 gears won’t do.

I was told the SC was for those that feel less adequate.

    Flux capacitor!
The Auburn LSD will engage both tires at the same time when it feels loose traction. The larger gears does help to make your truck feel closer to stock again after larger tires.

Lol! I love pulling away from stock trucks showing how great it is to feel “less adequate”. :D

Yeah me too. Stock trucks just can't keep up in the whoops. I have yet to lose to a Lambo or Corvette either.

It’s too big of a truck to be messing with Lambo & Vette. Couldn’t keep up when I raced with my Porsche. Straight line racing is no racing. Going between the traffic when all the other cars feels stationary is...

I only race for pinks, but I pick the road . Street racing is illegal . Who would do that? “¯\_(ツ)_/¯ “

My auburn lasted 6-7 months in my Tundra. With 20s / 35s the clutches got cooked as soon as the roads got icy, and I daily drove for a week or two. Super disappointed.
