Just thought I'd post up an update. The truck is getting ready to be sent out to the shop to get the rear done and after taking some time and looking everything over. With my plans for the truck and how badly I plan on beating the living crap out of it. The one thing I over looked was the wheels lug bolts. Don't know if you guys know this but stock the lug bolts are grade 6. Grade 8's will certainly take more of a beating. I'm planning on contacting ARP and seeing if they already have a replacement or if I can get custom ones ordered up. I'll keep you guys posted! It's a cheap mod for some piece of mind for those of you that like treating your truck like a trophy truck lol.

It's good piece of mind. However, if you still have hub centric wheels it's really only just piece of mind. There's very little sheer force on the studs when the wheels are hub centric. If you have lug centric wheels, absofuckalootly!!!

What did you decide on for the rear?

Rather have and not need than to need and not have right?!

Rear is going to be an Atlas SUA pack with a half leaf added for axle wrap. Unfortunately deaver is 6-8 weeks out minimum for anything custom since they don't build their springs in house like Atlas does and they're hooking us up.

    Rear glass

Fox 18 inch 3.0 triple bypasses With Full bed cage

    and a custom bed rack.

That first sentence to me is akin opening a bible. I wholeheartedly agree. if you get ARP to make those studs, I may or may not be next in line. Just adding 2 cents from my experience.

The rest of the plan sounds like a damn good plan. Again 2 cents from some internet asshole, do a triple military wrap on the forward part of the spring and when you set pinion angle, point it 2-3 degrees down from the driveshaft strait line. You will counter most of the axle wrap with those two tidbits.

Don't you hate those internet assholes! Always making shit cost more money and take longer! :frusty::lalala:
I'm kidding, I believe they will be triple wrapped considering we're the only ones requesting a half leaf for axle wrap.
I'll forward it along to the shop building the truck.

Almost forgot, next week we're ordering up a lowrance and an Icom race radio.

This is so we can be covered for south of the border and as well as run with the expedition offload guys in the future. And whatever other shenanigans I can get myself into. :)

Well I did include 3.0's for the back in my math. Plus the 2.5 coilover and 2.5 bypass. I guess my price on Kings is a little better :cookiemonster:
