going to go with either the ridge grappler 285/70/18 .. almost 60 pound but look great with a lot of good reviews.. if you have them what psi do you run with for daily pavement driver this is 80lb max i believe???

    or...
295/70/18 nitto terra grappler G2 116s .. 50lb tire not the 10ply version in the same size which is 63lb obviously beefier.. I know nothing about load letters looking for advice

Just seeing if anyone has them ? pic would be great

I do mostly pavement driving and tow a 22ft boat around occasionally ( sometimes over 1000 miles to the keys)..
on my 2011 tundra i had the terra grappler G2 305/55/20 116s and thought they were really good.. I got 70k miles out of the set which were quiet and smooth .. so yes i’ve had the same tire and liked them but figured i’d ask about this size specifically .. cheers thanks

I will tell you this, I have the ridge Grapplers in 295/70/18 on my 4x4 crew Max. They were great for a while but have worn quick! I drive mostly pavement and occasionally dirt and hunting trails. I installed at 29,500 and am now at almost 50k. They were run at 40psi (recommend by nitto) and rotated every 3k religiously. They are now very loud on pavement and hoping I can get through winter without replacement. I'll be under 25k miles on the tire before they need replacing regardless. It was a lot of money for the little mileage I've got from them

I have the ridge grapplers in 275/70/18, and I have been pretty pleased. They might have worn slightly quicker than I was expecting according to the tire gauge, but I only have 10k miles on them. Looking at them, they still look really new.

I have the 285/70/18 and really like the tire, the looks, on/off road handling and the road noise is minimal for such an aggressive tread. I can not speak on longevity yet as I have only had them for a couple thousand miles. I’m thinking as long as they are rotated every 5k they should last a while, I’m hoping. They are on the softer side of the compound rating, so they may were a bit faster ? As of now, I do not regret my purchase.

I will add that when I first purchased them I really liked them. They rode well, were quiet, and had great traction in rain and snow. They seemed to be wearing really well then all of a sudden it took a drastic turn. They've started wearing quickly and with that came a very loud road hum. I'd estimate this started around 16k miles.
I'm not sure what tire I want to go with in the spring as I was thinking about going with the Terra grapplers but I'm afraid of getting burned again. I had also got the ridge grapplers during Black Friday sales and got a good deal but $1000 in tires should last longer than what Im getting

Anybody heard good or bad for the Toyo RT? I was looking into possibly getting a set of those. I love the way they look.
