Anyone install a Snugtop GB sport yet? I'm looking for photos to see how this new design looks on a Tundra. Tons of photos on the Tacomas, but haven't found any on the Tundra. Post up if you have any or found any online.

None....... yet (apart from getting rid of the standard chrome wheels)
Hi, I recently attempted to order a Snugtop GB sport for my Tundra after two weeks of thinking it was being assembled I found out they are still working on the design for the rear door. It seems it will be at least a few weeks. That maybe why there’s no photos of the GB Sport on a Tundy. I was taking a bit of a chance but I originally wanted an aero sport (which looks great on the tundra) but they can’t put racks on this model and I wanted to be able to mount a roof top tent on top of the cab. Anyways if I go through with it I’ll post a photo.

When I talked with someone from corporate in customer service, they gave me the, “Not sure when... so just call back in a month or so...” routine.

    Here’s a reply I received today:

“I emailed Snugtop customer service to see if they had a release date. They said the GB Sport for the Tundra with the 5.5' bed is expected to be in production in the next few weeks.

For reference, pricing for a GB Sport for your size truck is $3272. There really isn't another model that is styled like a GB Sport. The window design and flare at the top of the roof make it unique.

There are other caps with frame less style windows on the side, like the Snugtop Super Sport, XTR, and Aero Sport. The Century Royal also has frame less style side windows.”

I just ordered one as well. Couldn’t find one in cement and I wanted to see what it looked like. Aero sport can’t mount a rack and super sport window looks weird to me. What are your initial thoughts about fit and finish? Are you happy with it?

So far I like it very well. Added the sportsman package. Increases the roof carrying weight to 500.

Really liking that a lot. I switched last minute from the Areo sport. I’m glade I did!

I was looking at the Aero Sport too. But, I like the Gb better on the 2014+ The back has a different shape.C303E51B-27CA-4F63-B09E-85167F7E4C92.jpg

GB sport is best looking topper for a Tundra, but I may be biased. The lines on the truck bedsides match up well to the lines on the GB sport.

Looks nice. Never had a topper before and got a question, when they install the top do they remove the plastic bed protection?

I have the spray in bed liner. The plastic on the top of the bed and tailgate stays on. The only thing we had to remove was the tie downs that are adjustable. The rails were able to stay in.
