I threw my 8” system on today and it sounds great. Feels like I got back the pep I lost with the TRD system as well, which was the primary driver for me trying the BA system.

    Thanks @dirtydeeds and @TuFerLife

Love it! How’s the sound compared to the TRD?

    This was my plan!!!

So I installed the 10” earlier in the week - today was the first “Wife Test”. F*#%*!!!
My daughter had a soccer tournament game across the river, and I knew it was going to be a hectic drive so I took the Tundra (not a peaceful joy-ride).
It took soooooo much finessing to play that skinny-pedal ohhh sooo softly! I passed the “startup test” - made sure she wasn’t around and started up truck before family hopped in. Then on the way into town, thank God it’s mostly downhill. I couldn’t believe I made it all the way into sh*#-hole downtown Portland without her questioning the DirtyDeeds 10”!! In town, it was very noticeable LOL and she STILL didn’t say anything! I think after the last Lexus go-around where I snuck that system on the car and called her silly when she noticed(she still thinks it’s an “F-Sport” package), she might have been embarrassed to ask again? LOL
I thought she’d catch me when I started the truck up after the game on the way home. NOPE! I just made sure she was in the cab and the stereo was on!
Coming home was a lot harder to hide the sound - little more up hill incline.
I figured it out though! One more item passed the sniff test

I helped my buddy put 2018 led headlights on his 2016 last week. I said what will your wife say? he said he'll tell her it's just a software update if she says anything lol. She has no clue. So far we did the headlights, wireless console phone charger, diy pop n lock. Hes catching the bug and doing LED reverse bulbs and interiors. And just got some Michelin defenders like mine. It's coming along and looks good, even though its white lol. I told him to dechrome but he likes the chrome and actually added a few pieces but I admit it looks good with the white.

I'm getting more curious as to what the difference my new 8" will be compared to my 6" I have now. With the cold weather here, I doubt I'll find out til spring at this point but we'll see

Never hurts to ask... I posted an update about how his shop foreman got hurt and took the week off, but he had other people working overtime. I got shipping confirmation on Friday and Keith said he anticipates to ship more on Monday. I’m sure you’ll be seeing it soon, my friend.

I've put about 200 miles on mine now. Yesterday the weather was nice enough to roll the back glass down and holy shit, huge difference. Like my 13 year old said, its actually sounds like a truck now. I too would like to here it beside me on the highway or a drive by. I can also tell a huge difference in the low end torque.

No. I think I will put it on this week, I've noticed the more broken in it gets I catch just a little drone. It's not bad, but I have the resonator so might as well try it out.

It does sound a tad louder than from what I have heard from others. Sounds raspy... Something I'm looking to avoid unless the cam makes it sound that way.

It's the cam. I've said it earlier, not one video that I have seen does it justice for the sound in person. My video sound was pretty accurate when I played it through my truck stereo.

They both sound great, not gonna lie. The tone kicks in a bit earlier with the BA as there’s more flow through a single pipe than duals. The loss of torque I experienced is completely gone. In hindsight, the truck felt like a dog with the TRD system. That’s all fine now and the truck drives so much better now, including holding gears up the mountain as it should rather that downshifting every five seconds.

The helicopter sound of the true dual system is gone, which I found a bit annoying, but here’s the funny thing. I had what I thought was a slight driveline shimmy (even though I have a Toytec carrier bearing drop installed) and now that is completely gone as well. I think it was the helicopter sound/drone of the TRD system that was making it feel like the driveline was shimmying slightly after I installed my lift. I didn’t notice it before the lift (I had TRD system before the lift), but I may have been more perceptive to it after the lift because you know, these things happen.

I received an email from Fedex that a shipment was on it's way to my address. I don't believe an email comes directly from Dirty Deeds, well at least I never received one.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
So....finally had a break in the weather and some time on yesterday. After starting with oil change, air filer and MAF sensor cleaning, I finally got to break into the box from Keith and the team @dirtydeeds

Having read others' posts and seeing multiple vids, the anticipation was nearly as high for this mod as when I bought the truck!
With all the work was done and minimal clean up, I jumped in, turned the key to 'On'....paused to make sure all the windows were down and turned it over.

    Final thoughts....
1.) Now the Tundra sounds like the BA it is!
    2.) Low-end is improved.
