Fireplace I built with some techo wall blocks. Five years old burns great.

There's a lot of kits around with the metal ring and bricks, but they tend to be in a smaller diameter, so just depends on how large you want the pit to be.

Here’s one of my current fire-pits. Not exactly the most family-friendly, but it fits the entire Christmas Tree for the annual Family ritual tree burn :D
(nothing to do with burning Christmas, we are Pro-God) lol

I was at a winery up out of Lyle WA (middle of nowhere) and they had a similar fire pit that was a huge bowl shaped part off of a huge ship! I want something similar so bad!! Love it!!

This is pretty awesome. Was this out of a “kit” you weld together or all home-brew?

I had no idea HD had that many “stone” choices to chose from!?! One of those would certainly work for me - if the wife approves of course. We’ve only been on Wayfair/Similar for the past year. Just figured HD only had the $60 ones. Thanks for this!

Home brew. Got a 4x10 sheet of corten, plasma torch, grind, weld, grind. It is pretty big, probably 3' wide and weighs 90lbs. haha. We also made a smaller one for my other buddy that was about 40% smaller. The walls come up on both at about 45*.

Always works to repurpose a cracked or damaged tractor tire rim. Or even better one off a grain cart. Those make excellent fire bowls.

This is wicked. I really like the style and the ability to make any size for your own needs. I’ll be making one of these for our place. What’s with the angle iron at the bottom corners of the base?

We just tacked them there to make a jig to weld the sides evenly. We hammered them off after the sides were all welded up.
