So as everyone know the Toyota Tundra has a AMAZING Audio system... I have a 2018 Toyota Tundra CrewMax With JBL and I need to change this shit out. Can some one put me in the right direction? I need something that’s plug and play. I was looking at the ********* 1B but I’m not sure if it’s JBL compatable and they have no email for contact. Does anyone have a kit or know a company that makes something that plug and play and requires no cutting to the factory wires? Looking for a full kit. Subs, speakers, tweeters, Etc... let me know...

Crutchfield.com is one place many have mentioned. Can supply any harness needed. good tech support as well.

********* has a JBL option for the system 1B kit. That’s the kit that I installed and it’s awesome. I know they have an email contact. Lemme see if I can find it.

Tech12volts...I read a lot about them on this site. James is a really good guy and he will help you any time of day or night. Great prices too. We were emailing each other back and forth and he set me up with a great package at a reasonable price. With the package, you’re able to keep the factory HU. I had to put my intend to purchase on the back burner for now for as the cold has rolled in but DEF. in the spring, im gonna hit him up again and buy it and install myself. Taco tunes is good as well but not spending $1700 on a system.

I just got my remote starter installed and while they were installing it I inquired about swapping everything out and I’m at $7000.00 !! Way to much but the system they were going to do was over the top !

What do you guys think about using a recurve EZQ, replacing all the speakers with kicker and then installing a amp? Would that work with the JBL?

I’m looking into upgrading as well any satisfied customers on the Tech12volts package? If so which one did you go with? Looks like lots of options, wondering if the Kenwood/JBL system would fit the bill versus going with the Image Dynamics which I’ve always liked the sound/quality.

Get a hold of (#Crutchfield), my 2007 had the factory amp JBL system and all I replaced was the HU so far. They set me up with a complete plug and play harness (they will also build the specific harness for your vehicle for $25 extra) which I highly recommend and control box so I could retain steering wheel controls and as far as customer service these guys are awesome. They are there on the weekends and late into the evening and they help you out with whatever I needed and they offer advice also. I plan on upgrading everything sooner or later but these guys make it easy.

Do yourself a favor and email James at tech12volts. He responds quickly and can make a great system on whatever your budget is for whatever type of music you listen to.
I have no doubt that the ********* kits are loud, but after doing a bunch of research on the equipment they use, I'm glad I passed.

Looking for some honest feedback from people who have had transactions with Tech12Volts, been down the road with out of state transactions that did not go well. Hoping to hear from members good/bad/indifferent

I made multiple transactions with James at tech12volts. He has amazing prices. I had a hiccup with shipping, box was torn and harness fell out, he shipped one out asap.

All transactions were done thru paypal

I’ve not used James at Tech12, but a LOT of great feedback on Facebook group: All Out Tundras. If I ever get something it will be from him. For whatever reason ********* just seems off to me and expensive. And I’m even in the same town, ha. Good Luck!

I second this. James is fantastic and his pricing is great. He’ll work with you and within your budget. I bought my system from him and couldn’t be happier.

I have made multiple purchases from James and all went smooth, items arrived quickly. I went full JL on my stereo build, with the exception of the Rockford Fostgate DSR1 processor (from James) that is plug and play with the tundra JBL headunit and allows the removal of the the stock amp completely

I also went with James at Tech12 and had a great transaction with him. I went with JL Amp, and sub and then Helix front speakers and JBL rears. My system sounds a hundred times better than it did. He will work with whatever budget you give him and give you great prices on it.

they were doing the stealth subwoofer boxer couple amps, a new head unit which was on sale for $800, and the front and rear door speakers were going to be done in FOCAL speakers which were very expensive. it was from their higher end lineup and of course the sound matting in the doors and some of the floor. Way to expensive but want to change out my system

Got it. That stealth box sounds great but to pricey for my liking and focal higher end models are great but As well super expensive. I have a great sounding system for 3k and love it

Tech12volt is excellent to work with. I've used him on several builds.
