I know you can look in the door jam and see what the factory suggested tire pressures are. But, I was curious to see what folks run on the tundras in the winter. Live in the midwest so it gets pretty cold.

On a cooler day, i air them up to 36psi. Or as most members will say, use the chalk test. Haven't tried it myself though..

Assuming winter as in cold rain/ice/snow, I’m leaving mine so they underinflate a bit, unless the roads are clear, then I’ll make sure they’re at what Nitto says, 42.

According to the ideal gas law, as all New England Patriots fans can tell you, PV = nRT, as the temperature drops so does the pressure of the gas (in this case air) in the volume of your tire. Air pressure in a tire typically goes down 1-2 pounds for every 10 degrees of decreased ambient temperature.

My god. It is a good thing my 14 doesn't have the option to look at the pressures. My OCD wouldn't allow that 29 when the other front tire is at 32

Mine is the same way. If you want to go completely insane, drive around with the tire pressures displayed. They will change as you drive. Mine are all always within 1 or 2 PSI of eachother, I've learned just not to look anymore. With temperatures now being below freezing, my pressures are set at about 30. But I've seen 29 upon start up, and they can go up to 31 after some time driving.

Wait for a cold night, truck outside, morning time inflate to door jam or preference, reset TPMS and your done. Cold tire reset.

    None, yet....
If you do the chalk test, your pressure shouldn't change for winter. If anything, the chalk test is more relevant in winter since it helps you get the most contact patch to the road. So if you live in an area with water and snow, more contact patch means better traction.
