Just gotta share: my truck sounds fucking bad ass now with the 8'' system on! The installation was super easy and I'm an accountant - someone that sucks with tools. Dirty deeds makes some top quality stuff! Thanks @dirtydeeds!

Update, I attempted to install my exhaust again today after spraying the bolts down with penetrating spray and I managed to break loose one bolt. I used an impact gun after failing to break loose the others and no dice, the bolts began to strip so I stopped. Guess I will have to find time to take the truck to a local shop to have them install the exhaust. I’m soooooo mad right now!!! it’s so hard for me to get the truck to a shop and all with my work schedule. Anyone have any bright ideas as to what else I can do? I’m using craftsman sockets don’t know if a different socket set would make a different?:annoyed::angrygirl:

Are you using a 14mm and 12mm? I believe those are the correct sizes. Mine were tight as well so I used a breaker bar for leverage and it worked like a charm.

Ps - the system doesn’t come with new exhaust bolts right? I had a pretty large hole in my package lol

I’ll be blowing up your PM’s looking for a high quality video eventually. I’d like to get some pretty sweet videos of the different systems to help promote keith’s Products going forward.

I finally got around to installing mine on Monday (minus the resonator), yesterday I put about a hundred miles on it, some hwy, some in town and some back roads. It seems like the more I have driven it the exhaust has opened up. I have watched every video on the internet and not one of them serve justice to the true melody that the exhaust makes. My only complaint and I'm sure I'll get used to it , is my erection gets hung in the steering wheel on sharp turns.

Every single one of my bolt heads were stripping except for the rear tailpipe one, which just snapped off. I sprayed them down with PB blaster twice in the days before the install. I just took an angle grinder to the bolt heads and used a hammer and a punch to get them out. It was a bitch and super tight under there but it worked.

Oh it was worth it, definitely, only snag I ran into were my bolts, had to use airtools to get them off. It sounds great, I got the 8”, you hear it when you’re on it and gets quiet when not.

I personally I don’t think it drones much even without the resonator, the trd exhaust on my pro drones more.
