Hey guys, I am new here so.. Whats up. I searched and found some threads but didn't really describe my particular situation, so here goes.

I bought a new set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers, they are 275/65-18's. At the same time I also had a rough country leveling kit installed, with diff spacer. At the first tire rotation (5.2K) noticed some cupping and was told probably alignment. So I took it to Les Schwab and had it aligned less than 15 miles later. Drove it for another 5K and in between kept checking and the cupping never stopped and the truck didn't drive any better after alignment so I kinda thought maybe that wasn't it. I had them warranty the alignment anyways for good measure. This cycle repeated a number of times where I go get em rotated and still cupping.
So I took it to another shop and had them try to diag what the issue was. I was told it needs new shocks and they recommend Bilstein 5100 adjustable ride height kit. Ok cool go ahead and slap that on and remove rough country leveling kit. so we did that and keep in mind these tires have been repeatedly rotated and constantly being checked and run at 35 psi. by the way they are load range E (10 ply). In the end guys, I just wanna know why my flipping tires are cupping. Wheel bearings are good, ball joints are good, tie rods are good... so im kinda at a loss!?!?
Anyone have any ideas??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am going to try to figure out how to upload photos and will update this hopefully within the hour.

    Thanks guys!

    Welcome from Ohio!
Are they cupping both on the front and back or just the front?

Pics would be good, but can you describe how the tires are cupping? Along outer edges, inner edges, across entire tread surface?

If you have an alignment print-out, post a pic of that too.

    And welcome!

Just the two front, no cupping on the back, those wear completely square. Trying to figure out the pics

I had a 2009 and now a 2010 both with same set up. 3/1 LowRange Offroad kit. You have to excessively rotate tires and do a hell of a burnout...LOL Next week I am getting new tires, new shocks, and Toytec Eibach 3" lift coilovers and ADJUSTABLE CONTROL ARMS. As expensive as they are, they will protect my tire investment. I've had multiple shops over the years tell me they can only get the alignment to go so far. I've had the same issues for years.

The stock control arms are have no adjustment. The aftermarket ones that are adjustable allow for Adjustment range: Camber +/- 2.00 degree
Caster 0.0 degree to +4.00 degree. Prices that I see range from 400 - 1200 depending on brand and how fancy they are. The ones on LowRange are SPC for about $600, but I just found them on Amazon for $480. I like to work on it myself but my local trusted offroad shop is going to install the shocks and coilovers for $200 and I'm hoping he will just throw the control arms in there as well. I decided on the control arms today after I had made the deal on the coil over installation.

And yes, I am pulling the On Top of the Coil Spacer from LowRange off and then put the Toytec 3" coilovers in.

#1 I wonder if this is the issue, I have alignment printout and it doesn't look bad to me except the toe. I wish I could post a photo of it lol.

I just purchased the SPC control arms on Amazon. $520 drive out. Looking really forward to the change after almost 10 years of the same setup and nursing expensive tires. Hoping the ride is better with the coil overs as well.

I agree, that's why I am done with this crap. I have spent so much time at Discount Tire waiting on rotation and balance, and then it still not be smooth. I've also learned that Tundra brake rotors are crap and warp easily. So if you are braking and have alot of shutter and shake, get some upgraded slotted rotors. I just installed Power Stop Evolution Brakes and Rotors. Smoooooth as butter.

I gave it a week and I think its getting slightly better. either that or my tires are low enough that it doesn't look as bad anymore lol.
