    TUNDRA ENTUNE UPDATE

Ok guys, the real scoop. Below is the latest update from Toyota for the Entune suite. The link to the Toyota site is - https://securedp.toyota.com/download-app/downloads

The update takes about 150-170MB on a USB disc and you will need at least a 2GB USB drive. Once started, it takes less then 10 min with the engine running.

It will do the following and NO it will not delete the Pandora app before the Nov 13th deadline:

ENTUNE UPDATE SEP 8,2107 WHAT HAPPENS.jpg

You will need to have the engine on and running, audio turned off and truck outside of the garage/house for safety.

Just did the update and the contacts and phone dial pad now stay operational even when driving (good safety feature). The rest of the apps function as before and Pandora app is still working as it did before the update.

The only change you will notice is the software screen will change from this:
    ENTUNE VERSION1.jpg

    To this:
    UPDATE SEP 8 ,17 INSTALLED1.jpg

Note the Audio changes from “1018D” to “10192”

    Enjoy!!

Still no go for me. I know the unit is reading the USB, I transferred an image and played a song off it.

Check with the Toyota site mentioned - https://securedp.toyota.com/download-app/downloads and punch in your info and check. also if if you try to download an update and it is already current it will not let you do it. lastly check your update history by going to - apps-setup-general-software update-update history. this will tell you what you already have. good luck

All chrome gone, pro grill, KC ditch light and bluetooth wireless controller.
These radios are such turds. I just bout an Indian motorcycle and it was a pain in the ass to update as well. I had to take it to the dealer. On this truck I have tried three usb drives of different sizes and it will not update. I have an older version of software but everything works, so I am not going to worry about it.

Anyone know if this is the updated version?
Recently purchased the truck. Tried to download and update entune software but truck won’t recognize that there is an update. USB has software on it.
