No clue, House was built in ‘60. Terrazzo originally. I already chipped up one room when we had our first kid and it didn’t come up in pieces, it came up in dust. Freaking nightmare.

I probably would have already done the floors but I can’t decide what to do because I have a stupid sunk-in living room and half the step down is on a big ass radius. Short of doing a natural stone and doing custom bullnose ($$)I am at a loss as to what to do... otherwise I would have already ripped it up and put down some rectified porcelain and been done.

Ahahaha we had the same stupid step down front room. It was only about 4" but even with the contrast of the different flooring people were still tripping on it. We filled that shit in and was worth every penny!!

Yeah that tile pulverizes when you hit it. If you're lucky to have the tile pop off in big pieces then you have the mortar underneath to deal with. We rented a 90lb jack hammer that came on an adjustable dolly. So you can change the angle of how it hits the ground. It worked pretty well but it's still slow progress.

So finally an update... We're almost there, about 95% done. Still have some little things but at least our furniture is out of storage and the house is more in a livable situation.

Here's the progress so far. I updated the OP with these so you can see the before and after

@boardude be honest. The rug in your office is for you to play on, not your baby.

Now you just need some bypasses and 37s.

Sorry I'm not used to house builds, didn't know how to react.

Bypasses in the rear and went with 36s so it will still fit in the garage lol. Everything is done with the truck in mind lol

 I thought IVF put us through the test lol. I learned quite a bit from this process.. but the most important was to let her make most of the decisions lol
