Tundra platinum interior trim swap

hey everyone! I just bought a 2018 Tundra Platinum 1794 and I want to make a few cosmetic changes already. I love the interior but it’s a little busy. I want to get rid of the wood grain trim and change it for either aluminum or black so it blends better with the rest of the truck. Has anyone done this? Any ideas where to get the pieces or covers for them? Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks!!!

 

You can easily take the trim pieces off and just take them somewhere to get them wrapped.

 

Carbon fiber interior overlays. They sell for doors, center counsel and dash board with different trim levels and a bunch of other PCs like door trim. Gas cover

How do you pull that wood trim off? I had the dash pad off recently to install the FRAC harness. I wasn't sure how to remove the phone wood.

 

Did it come turn a type of glue? Or do you have the remove the old parts of the dash and other plastic pieces

 

Anyone selling their old wood trim?

 

You can get complete replacement trim in aluminum, carbon fiber, or (for those looking for it) wood on eBay.
Not cheap, but the kits are very extensive.

 

Is it real carbon fiber look? I especially like the bipolar covers the flat black b pillar tape gets scratched easy

 

I also was looking for the black material for the driver side ac vent and above the glove box

Got all the kits they had; gas cover, “B” pillar, door trim, dash trim, infotainment trim, center consul trim, glove box trim, dash control trim….think it was B&I kit
