to Tundra4Pinay: When using Bead Maker, make sure you have good quality microfiber towels, and several of them. I'm a big fan of the Cobra Super Plush Jrs for it. They're a little on the pricey side, but to me, worth it.

I haven’t tried those. My favorite are Griots PFM, which are also pretty expensive.

I am by no means into throwing money around, but for quality and getting the job done i will spend the money and the time and effort to get the result I am looking for.
I appreciate any input and hearing about personal experiences, best teacher of all.

    These are my favorite:

Griot's Garage 55586 PFM Terry Weave Towel (Set of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BD5F1EA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_s.f5BbV99AJPG

There are good towels cheaper than that though. Chemical Guys makes some good ones, and you can’t go wrong with The Rag Company either.

Griots PFMs are indeed awesome. The smaller ones are currently on sale at Pep Boys for 6.99 each

I just want to say that everytime I come across this thread I think the title says "P&S Bread Maker Review" at first glance.

It really makes me questions things for a moment.

...anyway, awesome info @War Machine I might just give this stuff a try!

I’ll also add as a resource Matt from Obssesed Garage. YouTube. Search it up. If it’s good enough for him, it will most likely overachieve for us. Good stuff.

    Thank god.
I want to see a good in-depth review before I go toe-to-toe with a housewife for the last one on black Friday. Have to make sure it's worth the potential jail time for assault, you know.

I tried the beadmaker recently and have used reload several times. I will say that I like both products. I did find that the beadmaker gave more shine and gloss. Both products are easy to apply. I think the reload will protect longer but I can not prove that claim.
I have also used hydro2, I love it. Just be sure the truck is cool and shaded when you apply it. It's very easy. Wash the car, rinse the car, spray hydro2 on a panel and hose it off with as high pressure as you can. Repeat on every panel. Then rinse the whole car and dry it and bam you've hot a silica coating that protects for several months. It's almost too as long as the truck is cool and shaded. I buy full strength hydro2 and dilute it with distilled water at 8:1 ratio and I like that. 6:1 left some spots, 10:1 was ok but I like it a little stronger while leaving no spots.
I think beadmaker would be amazing over hydro2, or reload for that matter, I just have not tried that .....yet. unfortunately I'll have to wait a few months to try here in CT

Excellent!! I appreciate your input! I will be moving some cabinets in the garage to make more room to work in there out of the sun. Being in So.Cal we are not yet in any wet weather but still warm, i want to get this done before the sky opens up, if it ever does.

I’m not sorry you’re doing it. I’m apologizing in advance for what you may become.
I started out like you, just looking for ways to maintain my black truck. It turned into an obsession. Constantly trying new stuff, judging the cleanliness of every vehicle I see. Begging friends and family to let me detail their cars. Spending way too much money looking for my next fix.

Hopefully you can stop at just this. If not, I’ll be the one who made you a junkie.
