    Pretty cool comparison.

The Pro did excellent due to higher quality "everything" else.

The air suspension....never took off in the off-roading community as well.

    Fun to watch this.
I’m noticing, again, that the all track rear differential control works flawlessly and even though I’d surely prefer a real locker, I’m not gonna replace it until I experience a failure or 2.
It will be interesting to see how the Rebel reliability stacks up too.

When I first purchased the Tundra, I wasn’t aware the atrac controled the brakes in the fashion it does. Just figured I’d need a locker down the road.
The system is pretty damn smart if you ask me. I’ve always had ARB lockers in my other Toyota’s - and haven’t found a reason to put a true locker in the Tundra. It works well for what it is.

    For sure.
My wife has Duratracs, they kickass for an all-terrain. Toyota definitely should consider them for the Pro.

Same. Honestly would be better to have a locker but I’ve gone through stupid deep mud trails and haven’t gotten stuck. Ive gotten stuck don’t get me wrong but a locker wouldn’t have helped.

Yeah it needs an interior update, that ram looked amazing on the inside I’m not going to lie. But new tires on that pro and you’re good to go

I do like that voodoo blue color. I was surprised to see those crap Michelin’s make it through; I believe the clearance helped there.

...ya those tires suck without clearance.

It’s not the tires it’s the colour of the truck that’s why you got stuck. Your part of the snow. Snow don’t move :p:stirthepot:

    I wouldn't mind owning a rebel,
They're pretty sweet. Too bad they aren't built a little better

Shot in my backyard ! Having owned 2 sets of Michelins, I'm happy to have recently put duratracs on my Tundra, the winter performance alone is worth it. The LTX AT2 is absolute junk in winter.

You have to sipe the AT2s to even work in the winter....and it’s marginal at that.

Amazing a truck that is basically 12 years old can hold it's own. I could have bought any of the competors, and almost went for a Sierra All Terrain, but absolutely love my Tundra. Not a second of regret.

    None Yet.
I looked at the Rebel before getting my Pro and was skeptical of the future possible issues with the air bags and couldn't stand the dial gear selector. Really happy with my Pro and have seen a lot of used Rebels sitting on the car lots around here.

i know people love the look and tech of the new Ram, but man, it looks tacky and cheesy to me. Too much going on. Doesnt the Ram have the rotatry gear dial and the manual shifting mode as button control.....yikes.....

LMFAO! I’ll catch some flack for this post - no doubt, but I’ve felt this way for years and it has to be said.
    Same shit with the Raptor.
Honestly - when the Raptor came out, I thought they were so Fing stupid goofy looking (decals) it was hilarious and I couldn’t even take them seriously (my off-road rig at the time was superior in nearly every way - minus tech and comfort (I wasn’t a pussy at the time), so I had no problem laughing at the drivers when I’d pass them).
Seriously - like out of my 6yr olds Jurassic Park toys/movies. Who the Fuck in their right kind spews some stupid dinosaur name half way down the truck bed? Who makes it a point to think “Raptor” is a cool name that should be badged every place they could find a spot on the truck?
Ram - why all the gigantic racing stripes and badges on an off-road truck that has no balls? Rebel? Seriously? Are you trying to out-gay the Raptor name?
Dodge also started the “blackout” shit and just took it too far.
Racing stripes on the Demon or Hellcat? Yep, sure - goes back to true heritage and works. You get a pass because you can back it up. On a fucking 4wd truck that doesn’t have serious nuts to back it up? Dodge? NO. Just wrong. Your design crew fucked up. Might get a nod when you drop in the Hellcat S/C unit, but don’t fuck it up with your stupid names/emblems spewed all over the truck.
I’m all for every MFG moving forward with their off-road style designs/prowess and giving us great options in the true 4WD world (due to competition) when the rest of the world seems to be small SUV’s taking over.
Just do it right, and clean. Noticed, but not noticed.
Don’t scream “look, I’m a fucking dinosaur truck!”
I think Toyota definitely did the cleanest job with the Pro. If they decide to release a L/T S/C beast to compete, I just pray they do it in a fashionable manner. Not in some stupid Detroit dick-swinger competition “I can come up with the stupidest name” competition.
The stupid gimmicky sales bullshit just looks downright fucking stupid and when people buy it for the bones, MFG’s may think it was bought for the skin.
