Just got in from doing mine. 1:6 dilution, sprayed the entire truck before rinsing. No streaks or residue. Got home and applied Beadmaker on top.

Had some oral surgery yesterday so I've bee asleep most of today. I did take 30 minutes to apply reload to the rear bumper. The powder coat needs some work, but the reload came out good. Also used the wax addict on the plastic bumper top. Came out nice. And did the first hydrophobic test.

Thanks. It “was” some serious shine. It’s been a couple of days with wet roads and black paint since then.

Good to hear Jim! I really love Hydro2. It’s almost always part of my process with any vehicle I do. I’ve always used it as kind of a base layer for any other products I’ve finished with. I can say that it does last quite a while. I wish I could say more specifically, but I don’t tend to use it on its own.

My go to has always been Hydro2 and Reload, but I’m thinking Beadmaker gives it a good bit more pop, and it’s slickness is unequaled.

By the way, I also have two Hydro2 competitors waiting to be tried: McKees 37 Hydro Blue, and Waxaddict Hydroglaze. These two seem to be the same type of product, and go on the same way. I need to do my wife and daughters trucks soon, so I’ll probably use one on each.

I still have so many products waiting to be tested. I wish this weather would cooperate. I also have a bottle of Gtechniq C2V3 Liquid Crystal. I don’t know if anyone has tried it, but it’s gotten some really good reviews.

Since this seems to have turned into a detailing thread. I didn't see this at the meet but I got it from @Sky's the Limit Car Care and it worked great on the water spots on my windshield. Delivery was prompt and the packing peanuts awesome.

I had to go over them twice, but the spots were pretty bad, five years worth. They were all outside of the wiper area but still making me crazy. Couldn't get good before and after pics. I cleaned afterward with invisible glass and it looks great. Tomorrow I'll clean once again and hit the windshield with reload. There was too much water running off of the roof and I ran out of light to finish tonight.

Hey guys, just a heads up for some of you who’ve been wanting to try Hydro2. I got a bottle of Gyeon Wet Coat, and gave it a try today.

    Gyeon Wet Coat 500ml https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OORR2N8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_3ArZBbS92C64Y

This works just as well as Hydro2. Just as easy, just as effective. The bottle is already mixed for use. Just spray on, rinse off.
The cost is $18.99 for half a liter, compared to $60.00 for half a liter of CarPro Hydro2. Now, the Hydro2 is concentrated, and is made to be heavily diluted, so it’s still a much better value in the long run.

That said, at $18.99, the “barrier to entry” is much lower for Gyeon Wet Coat for those that want to try this type of product.

I did two full size pickups and a full size SUV today, and still have probably a third of the bottle left. Like Hydro2, it doesn’t take much product.

I have tried that. I feel like Hydro2 or Gyeon Wetcoat are better, but it worked pretty well. I’m sure you’ll like it.

To bring up a super old thread.... there was a guy from Maryland at this event that had just finished a stereo install in its 2nd gen. I really liked the stereo he had and I know it was from the Seicane.com website but now I can’t find one for the 2010’s on there... anyone know his username or other infor in that stereo???

Also, my headlights are still looking beautiful!
