I was able to go to SEMA again this year through work and figured I would do a pic dump for you guys. Some Tundra related stuff, but its a conglomerate of all the cool stuff I saw there. Wasn't sure were to put it exactly, but since it's technically "a trip", I figured it was best in the Trip Report section.

A couple of observations I made:
    - The off-road thing was HUGE this year!
    - Brodozers - Brodozer trucks were everywhere. There were tons and tons of 20" lifts with 24" wheels. I find them dumb, but at least I can respect the effort/money that goes into those things. Considering almost none of them could see during the SEMA cruise, I still don't understand their purpose.
    - Overlanders - Holy crap were there RTTs everywhere. Almost every offroad vehicle had a tent on it. The overlanding thing was overplayed, which is expected due to its popularity. Also buttloads of trucks with $30k in suspension, lights, carbon fenders/bedsides, but had never seen dirt.
    - Mahindra Roxors - These were the thing this year. It's like a UTV, but CJesque. I dig them. I am going to try to find one that's already depreciated and buy it.

All-in-all, it was a good trip. Lots of new industry stuff, but some of the builds were awesome. In total, only 7 cars there had banged up sliders. A couple trucks showed up that wheeled there, which was awesome, but a lot less people were interested in them.

Anyway, enjoy my cell phone pics...

This thing was just awesome. Trophy truck status on an old vintage truck.

This thing is literally perfect! I will definitely own one of these things in the future. I googled the shop and Rtech Fabrications made it. It has a 5.9 cummins, NV4500, wontons and 40s. I freaking love it!! Apparently it was a feature vehicle last year, but I found this in the parking lot.

This beaut was in the Mopar booth. It was mint!

    IMG_6780.jpg
This thing is getting a ton of coverage and righfully so. Its very well done and the guy who built it was super friendly. Good dude all around. If you want to follow him, his IG is @Dr.Deathwobble

    IMG_6828.jpg
And of course, the Loren Healy's red dragon. I've seen this car a handful of times, but its still impressive every time I see it.

Surprised to see Healy's U4 rig there, had a decent yard sale at the Nationals races a couple weeks ago. Tire completely ripped off and rolled down the side of the mountain most the way to the crowds in the stands watching the race!

I want to say he's got 2 cars now, maybe? I thought I saw something on IG that showed 2 cars and one as a backup. This one did have some carnage on the inside though, but if they repaired it from that big tumble, they did a hell of a job.

Broncos were in this year. We saw probably about a 15-20 of them that were very well done. A couple were even respectful.

    20181031_225922097_iOS.jpg
Rebel JK. Probably one of my favorite JKs there.

    20181031_230301440_iOS.jpg
This porsche was absolutely incredible. The sheetmetal work on this is ridiculous. That's a hand fab'd widebody front end. The rear quarters were also hand made. About the only thing that was original Porsche is the chassis, doors, and roof structure. The rest was hand made. Someone spent countless hours on a planishing hammer and an English wheel.

    More "overlanders".....

As we are walking around, this thing popped up in the corner. With soooooooooo many offroad trucks at the show that have never seen dirt, it was absolutely badass to see this rally style Porsche that someone was smashing gears in on dirt roads. This thing was one of my favorites.

    More Broncos.

    Ask and you shall receive.

Of course, the iron man has to be featured.

    20181101_225903941_iOS.jpg

Then there was the retro Ford. It had all rancho shocks, giant lift blocks on the leafs and just general crap suspension, but hey... at least it looks cool....?! Anyway, I called Rancho crap suspension, not realizing that this truck was at the Rancho booth and I was asked to leave... haha!

    20181101_225419742_iOS.jpg

Then we saw this giant tow truck thing. It was glorious. We even saw this thing cruising around at the end of the show for the SEMA cruise. Respect.

One of the few non-JK/JL jeeps at SEMA. 3 rows and a giant RTT for the whole fam.

I have a soft spot for these Comanchees, since I have an XJ. This one was VERY well done.

    20181102_195911592_iOS.jpg

I was really excited to see this thing, since I follow the ROAMR guys on IG, and they absolutely killed it with this thing! It was awesome.

    20181102_204148499_iOS.jpg

Finally, some Tundra stuff. The ADD Tundra and the Camburg Tundra. I was really considering running the Camburg bumper, but after seeing it in person, it's pretty huge and sticks out far. I hadn't even given the ADD bumper any consideration, but after seeing that they got a tight package and were able to still fit a winch in there, I am leaning more and more towards it.

    Done.

This Mahindra Roxor was awesome. It was on portals with fabricated 9s and hydro bumps.

I agree. I was really only considering the Camburg bumper for my truck, but now that I saw the ADD bumper in person, I don’t know anymore... they did a really good job with how tight it is to the body, winch integration and the spot for a light bar.

The six lugs on the photo are just cosmetic. The actual lugs are behind the center cap.
