What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I'm not sure. I'd ask why a person at another dealership didn't have to pay but you did.

 

Also put on some SDHQ ABS sensor guards. Super easy and quick to do. Nice peace of mind too.

 

Usually they are not covered within the Toyota care. But as mentioned super easy to do yourself and buy elsewhere.

Added led lights in my toolbox.

 

Finally got around to adding the 5160s in the rear, replaced my spacer lift with 6112s set at 2.5 a month ago. Ride is much better on the shitty Illinois roads. Rear install took about 2 hours start to finish, top mount nuts were slow coming off after 4 winters.

 

Is that the motion detector led light?

 

No,
It has a magnet switch to break the circuit when it closes. Also came with a rocker switch if you'd rather have it that way. I wired it to be hot with or without the ignition on.

If it's from headlight revolution it does.

My gtr led brake lights did not. My led blinkers did.

 

Just installed the StopTech drilled and slotted rotors with the street pad, and after the breaking in process I can say I’m very impressed with them!!! They look sick behind the wheels, and do find myself stopping short while getting use to more stopping power plan on painting the calipers black with the G2 self leveling paint but being my daily driver and needing 24hrs to cure I’m going to have to find time and talk to the wife into taking the train into work one day

how much were those rotors and pads ? where did you purchase them from? i just installed POWERSTOP rotors and pads on my wife durango last night also!

That is sick! I like the fact that its using the factory remote. I was debating between this one from 12.Volt.solutions and this one i found ob ebay for $170 that is completely Plug and Play. Have you looked at other kits before getting this one?

I platidipped the tip on my Tacoma. It held up just fine for probably 2 years.
I used some other kinda of peelable spray on the tundra tip, rustolem I think, and it did not work at all.

 

Just get some high temp paint. Plastidip is gonna melt.

 

PD chips so easy (unless you're wanting to retain the chrome). How about sanding 220 to 300 to 1200 grit, polish with steel wool, then use Rust-oleum high heat paint?
