Thanks. I’m thinking of doing the opposite. If you turn off the lights on by door the foot still comes on so I figure I can turn that off and have the blue light but still have the bright white overhead when needed. I wanted to see someone’s if they have done it though.

All interior leds are bright blue, but I was thinking doing these in white, but then the blue might be better.

The blue is enough for me up to and the white completely covers the floor

@Ely010606 I passed it straight through below. I may have use a wire hanger to make it simpler to pull from the front passenger side.

I have a 2001 and have not figured out how to remove the floor bulb. Can someone help? Also can it be replaced with an LED?

How bright is the VLED kit? I only want some light in the footwells, but not so much it reflects back up and off the windows.

Cars that come from the factory are fairly dim, which is what I'd want.

They are only on when the door is open so what does it matter? Your overhead lights would be on also so I have never noticed it reflecting off the windows.

I see. I was planning to install lights that are on when the headlights are on as well as a door open. A lot of luxury vehicles have that. I'll probably just source my own parts and do my own install.

Get cheap ones on ebay, they're not overly bright. Cut off the button switch and posi-tap into the left footwell light so they turn on when the door opens. Bonus, changes color with remote. Add zip ties in addition to the 2-way 3M tape. You may need to extend one wire if you have a CM.

I wired mine to the cargo light wire. They come on when doors are unlocked, opened, or whenever I turn them on with the cargo switch. I suppose you could do the same and wire them into the dome light or map light wires.

I have about 8 of these from Oznium that I have no idea where I'll use them. I took them out of my 2013.
