Yarded the CO out last night (again) and took to Oregon Motorsports to drop off for a rebuild this am.
I mentioned to the owner no oil had leaked out that I could see. He brought me in the back and pulled the snap ring on the reservoir and wiped down the internals. He said most likely there was dirt/particles in the reservoir channel from driving on dirt roads uncharged while the end caps were pressed in (reservoir) and that’s where the leak was coming from. He put it on the bench and charged it with N2, and the leak was confirmed at the end cap valve side.
He pulled the snap ring and wiped it down, cleaned the seal and reinstalled (super easy, wish I would’ve know I’d done myself on the truck). He charged it up and so far it’s held for a few hours. I purchased a Fox Schrader Valve/gauge from him just to give him business - but still need bottle gauge and lines.
I picked up a N2 bottle on way home and ordering the gauges/lines shortly.
Hopefully the CO holds this charge and all is well. We’ll see, not holding my breath.
Removal is only a 20 min process now, so if I yard back out no big deal.

Slapped back together and went on a test drive. It seems to be fixed.....for now. We’ll see in the AM :D

Hey Chris, with your fill hose can you also check shock pressure? I'm wondering if the secondary gauge is helpful or just eye candy?. I'm also not sure I want a no leak chuck.

To get an accurate read or fill, this is required.

If your regulator is setup correct the no loss chuck isn't really needed everytime. I used my gauge to setup the regulator and rarely use my no loss gauge anymore. Nobody will be able to notice 5-10lbs of pressure difference in their shocks.
