Is 6.5" width the width of the light? If so, what is the overall width of the bracket from outside of bolt to outside of bolt?

What are the dimensions of the base of the mounting bracket that will sit on whatever it's being mounted on?

Are there any plans to make black rock guards for LP6/LP9? Thanks!

    Working on it ;)
We have a video and photoshoot planned soon. Hope to get some quality output shots then

Let me see what I can do for a dimensional drawing. We have them available for our other lights, just not yet for the LP6.
This will give you all of the measurements you're looking for... stay tuned

At this time, we don't have plans for Rock Guards. That could certainly change in 2019. I'll get with engineering and mention the rock guards on top of the dimensional drawings.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

How do two LP6's compare to a 20" OnX6+ bar? Does the bar shine farther due to the racer chips and have more even lighting becuase of the physical width? I like that you can aim the LP6's individually and the fact that they have IPT LED's. I know the easy solution is just to get a 20" bar and a pair of LP6's. Lol. Hopefully eventually... Thanks!

Here is a spec comparison and quick explanation:

    LP6 Pro, Qty:2
    Total Lumens: 20,600 (Forward Projecting Lumens - 17,200, IPT Lumens - 3,400)
    High Speed Spot Optics: 8
    Wide Driving Optics: 4
    IPT Optics: 8

    OnX6+ 20"
    Total Lumens: 24,920
    High Speed Spot Optics: 4
    Racer Edition Optics: 4
    Wide Driving Optics: 4

The OnX6+ will shine further thanks to the 2 Racer Edition optics found in each 10" section (4 total for 20"). It's not a significant difference due to the stacked reflector design of the LP6. While the LP6 lacks the Racer Edition optics, it does feature much more near-field lighting thanks to the IPT technology.

You mentioned adjusting the LP6's individually, this is a huge benefit of Auxiliary lights! You can really fine tune the aim and adjustment and get the light exactly where you need it. The light bar is mostly limited to up and down adjustment.

I would personally run a set of LP6's on my Tundra over a 20" OnX6+. The extra adjustment and near-field lighting is a big thing for me :D

That's perfect! Thanks a bunch. That solidifies my answer even more, I'm going to pick up two LP6's during the black Friday/cyber Monday event if there is one.

I don't know... I have squadron Pros now and they are almost too small for the size of the truck. i would agree that the LP9s are way too big, but the LP6 may be just right. May just be ordering me some of these.

I think the XL80's are perfect for A pillar. I think that's what they have on the Raptor.

I wonder if the IPT reflectors on the LP6 would give you additional, unwanted, glare on the hood if mounted in the A-Pillar location?

Do you have isolux plots for the LP6 and LP9's or output shots comparing them? No rush, just curious. Thanks.

"Is the LP6 too large for the A-Pillars?"

This is a question we've been getting a lot lately. It comes down to vehicle application and personal preference on the look. Here is Collin Harper taking flight with a set of LP6's on the A-Pillars!

@Baja Designs Any plans for rock covers for the lp6 and lp9? Also called the CA ticket avoiders. Need to find a way to cover them before I hit the purchase button.
