I must begin with a huge shout out to CBI Offroad for reaching out and making me an offer I could not refuse! Coming from TacomaWorld, I had seen the great racks PRINSU was producing from the beginning. I love the Cabrac and Toprac made for Tacomas, T4Rs, Cruisers and the FJ, but never considered the Tundra. I always considered my current bedrack to be sufficient for our adventures until recently. The timing couldn't have been better

Don't worry, I plan to turn this into a full install write-up/discussion, and get a badass walk-around video for everyone. I absolutely love the low profile of this rack and if you were on the fence about getting one, I assure you this will be the thread to check out!

How is this mounted to the roof? The tacoma method looks slick as there are already threaded holes in the roof, but the Tundra doesn't have these does it?

i used the supplied rivnuts but you could use nuts-n-bolts if you wanted. that section of the roofline is about 1/4" thick. i'm not going to put large or heavy loads up there so, i felt the rivnuts were solid enough.

One more question, can you configure bar location to give good view of the sky through the sunroof? This is the main reason I'm looking at this one vs the Rhinorack (which doesn't seem to offer that flexibility).

Looks Amazing! I also got the Prinsu Cabrac, after install I noticed that when im slowing down to 30-25 mph I get a pretty strong vibration? Is it something wrong with the install?

Any vibration from the rack is definitely not normal. I don't get any noise or vibration from mine

Anyone know it this rack clears the sunroof when it's popped up as a vent rather that fully opened?

    TRON,
Great looking Tundra! I run the website https://rooftopoverland.com/ where we are an authorized dealer of Prinsu racks. You have some great photos of the Cab Rack! With your permission I'd like to use a couple of the photos on our Cab Rack product page. Please let me know if this would be ok.
    Best,

I've been considering one of these for a little while. @TRON , I'm curious how the rack has been holding up over the last year and a half. Any regrets or problems? More specifically, any issues with the finish or water leaks?
