Jl micro 8” sub installed

Thing hits like a 12”

 

They are impressive! Had that same sub in my old truck!

 

Looks great! What model did you go with? I've been checking a few out also the one that has 2 in it.

 

My friend has the two sub box. It is too much.
Everything rattles lol.

 

Always been impressed with JL stuff. Wonder if it would work with the JBL setup? Seems like my sub has slowly disappeared.

 

Not sure. I got a good deal on the sub. And amp. Too good i couldnt pass it up.
I were to do it again i would buy the powered 8” sub from them.

 

What is the LC2 box next to your amp?

 

That is a high input to rca input for the amp. My amp has the high input connection, but i needed a way to switch on the amp. The lc2i provides that for me. The stock stereo does not have a dedicated sub preamp out put.
Connect to front speakers then run your rca to amp.

that behind my rear driver seat. Perfect fit, and it has high level input so you dont need a lc2i. Hits plenty hard!!

 

I bet it does. Mine hits almost too hard.
