@speckmon what years your truck? I checked the compatibility checker and this model doesn't work for 2018 Tundras, the list is different.

I got the one with the 1 mile remote with the screen on it that tells u ur data like temp in car and what not and I love it. I think it's only another 100

 

Dang, saw this last night and had to ask the wife. She told me to get 2 (my tundra and her 4R) and they don’t have it anymore

Is there any way to use this by smartphone app only? Or do you have to use the key fob remote?
I park in the garage but this would still be cool to have for hunting/work/etc. I don’t want another thing hanging from my keychain though lol.

which is also available at best buy i lost it on their site but you should be able to find it. im really happy with my upgrade kit. best buy threw it in in 20 minutes for $40

 

yep get their Drone module and you can start it anywhere in the world. It's a 6$ monthly subscription

 

I ordered this kit online. When I went to a local store to schedule an appointment, I was told by Geek Squad that it wasn’t compatable with my 2018.

 

I had compustar remote start come pre installed with the truck but dealer didnt have the keyfob from previous owner so i bought this uograde remote kit, its the older model of the upgrade remote feom bestbuy but same specs I think. All you have to do is change the antenna and program new remote wich is easy to do. Its $80 cheaper than the one from bestbuy.

That sucks. James Randy Taylor sells a plug and play kit for the ‘18 that works with the factory fob.

 

Is this still the full kit? Or just an upgrade to it. Im looking for a remote start system for my 05

 

This will be an upgrade kit to the base remote start you get from bestbuy.

 

The full system is required regardless then u can buy upgrade kits on top of thar

 

Is this person selling kits on eBay? I’m looking at the 12volt Solutions kit now.

if u got another $100 to drop i highly recommend the 2 way remote, if you get it now youll save on the install since he can do it in one crack.

im always checking the temperature i love it. plus before i had to have 2 remotes per key chain

 

ive had every starter in the business. this one is by far the best

I don’t know yet. I ordered and have it scheduled for install next weekend.

 

I went to Best Buy and they said they didn’t know what that was and wanted 400$ for it for install

 

Wonder if it was a single day sales deal....

 

They usually have one week sales. New sales start on sundays so if you went today that would make sense since it was on sale last week.

 

FYI, this Sale is back... and per website it now works on 2018’s as it comes with the T-Harness? Anyone bought this deal yet? I’m curious before I pull the trigger, as I have a 2018. Thank you
