Check out Method Wheel closeouts. Just ordered 18” Vex (x5) $786 shipped. According to master parts list Vex, Con, and Roost are hub centric for those that care.

Looking at buying the Vex and then having them powder coated black. The only color is the dark gray with gold. What are your guys thoughts?

I like SCS rims, but $1200 is steep. Right now 4 Method rims would set me back $448, then powder coating.

I would get them and have them coated, most don’t like the shiny bolts so you would be taking care of that. Also able to get a textured finish, which is what I would do if I had mine powder coated. For example check out Barstow wheel by Black Rhino.

Another thought, the factory grey vex might look good with ur (gray) cement truck.

That gold’s gotta go though bro. Have you heard how much folks are getting charged for powder coating?

Then you’ve got the +18 offset, I was sort of hoping for +20 to +25 for when i level and add 295s.

+18 to +20 is only 2mm, so not huge difference.

Method also offers a black bolt kit for these wheels, however, currently out of stock. I will be calling Monday for ETA. look under wheel accessories.

For tires I will be running the elusive 285/70/18 Nittos. Nearly 10 lbs lighter than 295 and will most likely ensure no rubbing. I’m surprised many more don’t consider the unsprung weight and extra 1 inch can add when it comes to tires.

Heads up, just had my order canceled by Method. They did not have enough stock to cover the order.

If you ordered close out wheels wait for shipping confirmation before you order lug nuts or tires. I thought with purchase confirmation and bank charge I was good to go and bought both...

Agreed. I understand computer hiccups happen but when I told them the wheel order was processed so I bought lugnuts and tires they said "ok".... no sorry, offers to honor the order when wheels come back in stock, etc.

Little help boys.. Which 18's do I get for my 16 pro stock suspension running 285/70/R18 toyo MT's... I want an off set that will widen the stance up a bit.

Couple of options, 1- run 1.25 wheel spacers from spidertrax or bora using your stock pro wheels cheap way to bump out ur stance. 2- run +18 or +25 offset wheel of your liking and sell ur pro wheels to make up diff. Keep in mind your pro wheels are +60 so going to +25 wheel will push wheel out 1.38 inches going to a +18 will move u out 1.65 inches. The math is figured in mm using ur pro wheel as a base line. I use mm to inches calculator.

Also, as u may know our lug pattern is 5x150

I’m going hubcentirc wheel which is factory set up rather than lug centric. Many run lug centric with no problems, just don’t seem right to me. Bad news is from my research there are like 3-4 hub centric options fortunately Icon and SCS have some bad ass designs. Strongly encourage you review SCS.
