    "ORDERED"

    Snooch to the nooch!

Unless I overlooked it somewhere in this long-ass thread, I'm going to see if the Phoenix HU "plays well" with @TundraTex's FRAC harness...will advise once I receive and install (hopefully quicker than 2 months!!)

Didn't realize we were supposed to put "ORDERED" in the comments. Thought that was for the Facebook Group that I was not a member of.

    Either way, "ORDERED".

That would be interesting to see, Phoenix does sell this https://phoenixandroidradios.com/co...ar-camera-automatic-control-module-switch-box
I'm thinking of trying this or possibly doing the 360° cam from Phoenix, my new fast boot shipped out the 20th and should get it on the 26th.

I don't think anyone is keeping track here, it's just Jodi's unofficial way on fb. The code works for lurkers.

I don’t think there is a possibility of a 360 cam on the Phoenix unit yet. You may have to run the Phoenix 360 to an AUX in port, but I’m not sure. Looks like there is a CAN connector on their website. Maybe that plugs into one of the two spare CAN connections and there is a different app that runs the 360. If there is I can’t find it in the unit. There is no need for the farc harness with the v2 fastboot. There are 3 separate hookups for front, rear, and one side cam. Or two side cams if you run the Phoenix splitter on that one connection.

So how is this thing running on a platinum with factory jbl and the different climate control? Anything to be aware of?

What year is your truck? I think there is a temp display issue with '18 and '19 Platinum/1794, but not sure. I have a '17 Platinum and everything works great.

You will need to pay attention to the settings. You want to set your vehicle setting to "Tundra HI" for your AC to work correctly. Also, your sound will most likely sound like crap when you first turn it on and turn the volume up. It starts to distort at a low volume. However, this is fixed with setting adjustments. There is a post over on the Facebook group with screen prints of the settings that correct this, but I may be able to relay a few of the settings that I think corrected this. So, when you are at that point, come back on here. With my settings dialed in, the system really pounds.

    Hope this helps,

Awesome. I have an 18. I'll be keeping an eye. Just want to make sure it's reasonably compatible since it seems the 18s have been finicky with other stuff too. Appreciate it!

I did talk to someone at Phoenix few months ago about the 360° birds eye view, it will work with the Phoenix HU, not sure yet on hook up but kinda looks like it is a separate DVR and only would use the HU for the monitor. Would be nice to have my front cam come on when speed is below 5 mph like the wifes Highlander.

If the fast boot is basically the same program as the 1st for cams I will be hooking up my front cam to the side cam wire, that way the front cam would come on as soon as you hit the cam icon.

I bought it on eBay for $1 but it’ll probably take over a month or two to get it lol. Will search out some local electronic and OTA stores that don’t have an online presence.

The GPS antenna you choose to hook up only determines differences in signal but you can maximize the placement of the android one.

The apps on the HU including Google Maps get data from your phone’s hotspot.

They come in packages of 2 so everyone will have an extra. I have an extra and would be happy to send out to anyone in the CONUS via USPS.

Yes, it looks correct with a footnote.

You have one of the additional RCA style harnesses plugged in. This is the harness in your pic fore front and is plugged into the top right port of the 6 port cluster. Not sure what this harness is for, but I did not use it.

However, the other small RCA type harness (female RCA type) that is labeled with "AUX L", "AUX R" plugs and so on and does NOT contain any labels with the words "RCA...". This one plugs into the middle right port between the USB plug and the rca plug you show in the pic. I did use this one. This is the one to use if you wish to use the stock 3.5 mm aux port right below the stock USB plug on the truck. I used this to connect an external XM receiver tot eh 3.5 mm aux port. If you wish to use the stock 3.5 mm aux port, you need to plug the red/white female rca (aux L and R) to the male red/white rca (labeled aux L and R) on the MAIN harness. NOTE: There are 2 sets of male red/white rca plugs on the main harness labeled "aux L and R, so I have to do try and error with a connected audio source to the aux port to determine which one was correct.

    Hope this helps,

Does the antenna plug that came with the harness plug into where it’s say RADIO?
