I also had a chance earlier to install the Auer Automotive Tundra bed light kit under the hood (useful) and behind the grill (just for looks). 10% off when you use the code "TUNDRAS" at checkout.

You sir, have one huge set of balls cutting into the dash like that. It sure came out looking good too. I'll be honest, I did not know people still used radar detectors.

I break the speed limit all the time Haha. Nothing crazy but the highway limit here is 65, traffic is easily moving 70-75, and I'm more a leader than a follower, so.... yeah maybe I should look into this

I’m a slow poke. Always have been. Happy to ride in the outside lane all day long. But I’m criss-crossing the country in this truck on unfamiliar roads, so hopefully this keeps me on the right side of the law.

New York is the worst. They go less than limit and refuse to move over. Well maybe not all but many of the ones I'm looking to blow past. I gotta admit I fire up easy though. Maybe bc I know the left lane is to pass regardless of the speed your doing. I'll blow past someone doing 70+ in a 50 but soon as I do I move over if can. I get behind these people either doing limit or less with no one in right lane and just refuse to move over knowing damn well I'm on their ass looking to pass. I try not to be a dick, but I do have a habit of driving fast. The worst is Prius NY drivers. If your like 10 over limit in fast lane I can respect that. But don't be in the fast lane going under. It's not nice to even do the limit in that lane. That's my lane lol.

I wish I knew, it drives me crazy that people use it as a travel lane. Often it's the slower moving lane of a 3 or 4 lane highway. People are obvious too when you come up on them in the left lane and they just don't move over. I agree with @mgm16trdpro that new York is even worse. I often travel up RT 90 to Rochester and theres a long stretch of only 2 lanes and you can't go anywhere. Right lane is almost better through that area

It's like I can read people's minds when I come up on them in fast lane. They're thinking I'm doing the speed limit so I'm not going to move over for you, I'm just going to keep up with the traffic next to me, I'm doing the speed limit so get over it. No dumbass, this lane is for guys like me looking to pass people like you only doing the limit, so move the F over. Yeah I got rage issues sometimes lol

    X3 I'm with ya Mike.
I admit I'm an aggressive driver but (knock on wood) I have never been involved in an accident and have never gotten a ticket. So I guess I'm a "good" aggressive driver lol:burnrubber:
It does explain why I consistently get 12.5 mpg in my truck though. Even on long highway trips I really won't top 15 or 16, oh well.

The I-95 section of New Haven <--> Waterford(I-395 exit), there were a couple of of places five years ago. Drove it daily for 2.5 years. One Trooper would sit at the State Police Barracks in Westbrook. Other places west bound would be the two service plazas. East bound would be around the curve just after the Madison service plaza and at the closed down rest stop at the Westbrook Outlets.

Because they don't like having to move over from the slow lane when someone is merging onto the highway. That's a shitty reason but it is what it is. The actual main problem is that the State of Connecticut is too much of a sissy ass bitch to take the land away from people to widen I-95 to six or eight lanes. They don't want to fight all the legal battles that come with taking land. I guess those stupid bastards in Hartford have never heard of eminent domain. Just another reason why I quit my job and moved half way across the country almost five years ago.

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

The rig got a bath and I installed steps by Rough Country. I will no longer buy a thing from them, as their directions were the worst ever. I may remove them and give them away just out of principle.465A84C7-DF62-4C9E-8AB4-AD17495EC7D6.jpg6156347C-FBAD-4524-8F0F-CDEA6144B391.jpg

This is all to prepare for the Bilstein 6112’s/5160, Goodyear Wrangler 295-70-18, and SCS rims install which will take place in a month or so!

Just a small lighting upgrade to LED reverse lights. They are a lot brighter for sure. Haven't had to back in the garage in the dark yet so I haven't been able to get a good visual on the difference but I can already tell that I am going to be REALLY happy with these/

    IMG_1297.jpg IMG_1298.jpg IMG_1299.jpg

This is without the LED. HUGE difference!

Couple of easy mods over the weekend. First, the "Poor Man's CAI". This was a LOT easier than I anticipated, only taking about 45 minutes. When I bought everything, I went ahead and proactively purchased the throttle body gasket without the screen (it was only like $4) to eliminate any potential whistle I've read about on the forum. When I received all the parts, I installed the throttle body gasket, "deleted" the charcoal filter, then added the TRD Performance Air Filter and the Intake Accelerator. I gotta say, it MAY be psychological, but personally, I do feel better throttle response. Comparison shots between stock and upgraded parts below. Total spend was about $80.

Second, I upgraded my wireless charging to the 3-coil design charger mentioned in another thread @offshore2005. My wife's iPhone 8 didn't want to connect to the single coil charger I had bought, maybe because her case is so thick. I replaced it with the Chotech 3-coil charger, and voila, now hers charges. Pics below as well.

It's amazing, I love all of you so much, yet despise y'all passionately for giving me great ideas of spend money on!! :spending:

@War Machine slapped it on today!. Should be fully cured before tomorrow's rain so we will see how she holds up! So far I like it. Smells great and Application was nice and easy. It's got a good gloss to it as well.
