With the offset and wheels sticking out a bit went with the rb10s to keep crap from flinging up the sides. I really liked the podiums but wanted a bit more protection

Awesome build! Your truck inspired me to get going on mine! I just ordered 275/70/18 K02's and 18x9 +20 Fuel Tactics (Black).

I was thinking about the the NFab RKR rails with steps which I think look really clean (I also like you can remove the steps for a different look). I saw you changed your podiums out for the the RB10s for better protection. I drive some gravel so I am wondering if that may be a better choice for me also? Has it made a noticeable difference? Thanks for your help! Here are the Nfabs I am considering:

Hey @tyson2925! Thanks for the kind words! I've noticed quite a difference in the amount of stuff flung up the sides in wet conditions. While I loved the Nfab's I had, they just didn't provide much coverage from stuff coming up the sides with the wider offset / wider tire combo I'm running. It's totally up to you what your willing to accept, I'm pretty OCD when it comes to keeping the truck as perfect as possible.

I live in Missoula and was wondering what Lithia charged you to put on your low range leveling kit?

I just talked to Lithia and the parts guy I talked to said Toyota is telling them to stay away from leveling kits due to the tss system on 2018 models. Have you had any trouble with that? Also, how do you like the lro kit?

I love it...levels the truck perfectly.....I have had zero issues with the TSS acting up. Marshall Taylor is one of the service writers....they had zero issues doing all kinds of work to my tundra

How come? Is the difference worth the expense (assuming you already have WT's)?

The Weathertechs are a harder molded plastic, where as the Husky Liners are more pliable and seem to fit the floor better. They also don't seem as slick when they are wet with rain/snow, etc. Lots of people on here have both and most seem happy with which ever brand they chose.

I already have the Weathertech's and while I have loved them in the other cars I've put them in, they do move around more then I'd like in the Tundra.

I have read a lot of good things about the Husky's and if I was starting from scratch (and knew what I know now) I would probably gone with the Husky's but at this point I've having a hard time with the idea of basically throwing away the money I spent on the WT's and then spending more money getting the Husky's.

That's what I meant about was it worth it as you seemed to have done that very thing? Thanks

Totally worth it! The movement bugged me to the point that it was an easy decision to switch. Plus I was able to sell the weathertechs to a friend who has a tundra so it wasn't too bad. I'd clean up your weathertechs real good and put them on Craigslist if your going to swap. I'm sure someone with a tundra local would pick them up!

Craigslist around here is a joke. I'd rather throw them away.

So on my WT's, the driver side is fine and rear mat's are fine, it's just the passenger side that moves too much. The Husky doesn't on the passenger side? Do they use something to hold it down or does it just fit that much better? Thanks again

The Husky comes with a better designed "carpet grabber"....its a 2 piece design with one threaded piece going into the carpet and then the mat fits over it and they you screw the top piece on to hold it down.....zero movement.

Just threw on the lro 3/1 leveling kit. I like the way it looks. Gotta get aligned in the next couple of days.

Do you get any sound when you turn the wheel to the extreme points on either side? I think it’s the sway bar making kind of a creak. I just put the kit on last night and haven’t got it realigned yet.

No sound on mine that I'm aware of. When Lithia did mine they did the lift/wheels & tires and then took it straight to the alignment shop.

Yeah. That might do the trick. The camber is a little off. I was gonna drive it a little to let it settle in but I think I’m gonna get it realigned sooner rather than later.

Does this also mean staying away from the 2019 TRD Pro grille (with factory TSS sensor) in non TRD Pro trucks?
