I bought mine a few years ago for $50. I'm not very computer savvy and it was guaranteed to work for windows and 64 bits so I got that one. There are so many different ones ranging from about $20. Just search it on Amazon or Ebay, a bunch will come up.

Okay I drove this truck to Houston and back. I put nothing but good gas in it. From Oklahoma to Houston it's pretty much flat. It averaged 11.4 miles per gallon if I calculate for the little bit bigger tires that's about 12. That's pathetic.
I gave it a good shot this truck does not do anything as well as my Denali or escalade.

it's just not even close as far as power Comfort or anything else. For sale 2011 Toyota Tundra immaculate new tires and wheels 36,000 miles. 9 in nav screen super nice truck super bad gas mileage. $29500

All led lights interior and exterior. High and low beam, also fog lights.
    Tow package
Tires and wheels are brand new.

If you want to drive a prius, buy a prius. Otherwise, quit worrying about it and fill it up. Enjoy the truck.

Hmm that sucks. Sounds like you saw some improvement. Were you towing? I think it needs a regear for those big tires and wheels. Oh well, looks like you’re throwing in the towel anyways. Was your Denali or Escalade lifted that much with those large sized tires?
Because with my Stock set up and a 2 inch lift on stock tires I get 12 in city traffic and 15 to 19 mpg on the highway. You blame the truck but I blame the problem that is present and the set up.

^^ x2. Between houston and san antonio i avg 18 to 19.5 mpg depending on drafting and speed. 14mpg around town. Stock limited 4x4. I get 20mpg with my 2wd tahoe on same trip, stock 20inch rims and tires with afm disabled. 17mpg hwy if i am lucky with my 2000 f150 5.4l 4x4. Only trucks i see doing significantly better as a stock 4x4 are ecoboost, but that is a different animal.

Sounds like that setup is eating away at your hwy mpg.

Yes it does suck. I like the looks of this truck and I spent a bunch of money on it in the past 3 weeks.
I was towing nothing zero to little wind. Yes my Denali was a 7 inch lift with 35 inch tires and I can get about 14 on the highway. Hand calculated. The Escalade is stock and it gets about 20 on the highway. Escalade gets about 13.5 around town and the Denali gets around 12 and 1/2 around town. I don't think there's any choice but to blame the truck. It's bad engineering. I don't think you want to re gear. I have the tow package it already has 4:10 it now. This truck would probably actually benefit from a taller Tire on the highway. I hate to give in but I don't think there's anything I can do. I like the truck but as far as power luxury and all that it just doesn't hold a candle to A Denali. I guess I want to like it and I don't. I put my bulldozer behind it the other day and it squatted it like a car. I have towed that bulldozer with both my Hummer and my Denali pickup and it just went down the road fine. I guess they're built to two different standards. I really like the Toyota Supras that I owned, but I thought this truck was a bit tougher than that. Maybe in the long run it might last longer, I don't know I have a Silverado with 320000 miles on it so I can't complain about it. I'm just disappointed I guess. It doesn't have as much power it's not as comfortable, it doesn't ride as well but it gets worse fuel mileage I just don't understand I guess. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Anyway if anybody wants it, it is a nice truck

I think you are exactly right but none of it adds up to me. Like I said my Denali is bigger more powerful, the tires are probably more aggressive and it will destroy this truck as far as gas mileage. It has 3:73 is in it and this truck is 4:10. I even tried very hard to keep it right under 2,000 RPMs which is where my I have found that my Cummins diesel will get its best fuel mileage. I don't know I'm at a loss there's no reason this trucks you get that better fuel mileage. But it does so it is gone. If I'm going to feed 10 miles a gallon of something, no offense to a tundra but it's going to be a hell of a lot nicer vehicle than this.

Right on man. Sorry it didn’t work out for you. I’m sure a regear would help in my opinion. But no guarantees. It would help the power as well. The gears in the rear end may sound big enough but coupled with the ratios in our transmissions, it’s not. And as far as squatting when you hook up the trailer, that has to do with the suspension that was chosen for the lift. With the proper leaf springs and proper rake it should do fine. But tundras are also a little low in the play load capacities.

Again sorry to see you go hope it all works out the end for ya.

I don't want a Prius. I'm giving up a lot by driving this Tundra as far as luxury in power. I thought it would be somewhat reliable and economical. I can go buy a 6.2 Raptor and get better fuel mileage than this. And it's a Raptor. But that's exactly what I'm going to do. No offense to Tundra but if I'm going to drive a car that gets 11 miles per gallon it's going to have a purpose or it's going to look damn good Don't it. It's just not going to be a normal pickup. At least I can say I tried

Thank you. The suspension did not change with the lift. Those are Factory Springs. When I lifted my Denali it was the same lift as this one. same brand the Springs did not change either. But yeah I at least gave it the old College try. And after sitting in this truck for 12 or 13 hours my back hurts like hell. These are the worst seats I've ever seen a vehicle in my life. I guess it's just does not fit me. Anyway it's a beautiful truck if anybody wants it

I had the original raptor--averaged 12.9 mixed. New eco raptor averaged 16.5 mixed use on my daily drives. While it is a nice truck, you will pay substantially more for it if you get it loaded out--70k range plus whatever else you want to do to it thereafter.

So you will pay for fuel with the Tundra or Pay for the Raptor upfront. Personally, I will not own another Ecoboost engine from Ford. The wife's car stopped running at 33,300 miles on the 3.5 eco in the Explorer sport out of warranty (5.5 years old). Sold the Eco Raptor shortly after that.

Good luck with your next purchase. Lots of people like them.

Stock for now, but have TRD Rear Sway bar for it.
I'd love to know if there are any gas or mgh hacks people are using. Totally stock 2012 limited platinum and I am at 12mpg all day long. Not 12 using the stupid mpg computer in the truck, which is way off, using miles per trip divided by gallons purchased. I get a little more on the highway, but not much cause I run it at 80 to 85 all the time. If I could get 14 in town, I would be stoked.

On a side note.............REALLY people. It is not a prius or civic or Diesel truck for that matter. 10 to 14 is probably pretty good for a big ass truck with a 300+ hp engine. Add big tires, lift, etc.....and DUH..... If we are going some where and need good gas mileage, we drive my wife's Subaru and get 25 mpg all day long on the road at 80 mph. Be realistic.

I will not own a ecoboost engine either. I said 8 years ago what was going to happen in these trucks and it is. Porsches tried for years to make reliable twin turbo off gas and it's almost impossible. Ford thought they could do it and I can't. That's a whole nother story. No it would be a 6.2 Raptor. I don't care about the money. It's the dollar versus the return I guess

First off this is not a behemoth this is an extremely light pickup.

This is where you are wrong. I have not had a new Ford in a few years but I've had at least 10 new Chevrolets and they were all lifted short of my Escalade. They all got substantially better fuel mileage and they had more horsepower also. I traded a Hummer for this truck. The Hummer weighed 3500 pounds more than this truck. The Hummer aerodynamics suck. It had a bigger more powerful engine. It got better fuel mileage. There's no reason for it.

I appreciate all the people that gave me all the info they could. I at least tried to make it work. This thing might go a billion miles I don't really care only keep cars but 10 or 15 thousand. Just not my cup of tea. It would make somebody a nice truck. If you know anybody that wants to trade a 6.2 Denali or a raptor send them my way. Thanks again.

Just fyi. DAP TUNING. Never called me back I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Huge waste of my time.

LOLz and dirty jokes aside, when I manually calculate the mileage on my stock truck, I find the computer is typically spot on. It has a rounding error as it rounds to the nearest 10th.

I've been following this thread from the start. I agree that your mileage was low but you reprogramed and now it's closer to what others are experiencing. Quick question, weren't all the other "issues" you've had with the "car" present before you decided to own? Comfort, luxury, payload, and reliability didn't change after you purchased. You didn't pick the correct "car" for your needs to begin with. Not the fault of Toyota. Most "came to their senses" then purchased a Tundra because of what Toyota has to offer.
In short you didn't research your purchase before buying and now you're not happy with your decision. Sell it and move on! Stop crying and bad mouthing Tundra on a Tundra forum. It only makes you look foolish. Oh, and GLWS.

Stock for now, but have TRD Rear Sway bar for it.

Perhaps these individuals are upset with the H2's EPA fuel-economy ratings: 10 city and 13 highway. We averaged 12 mpg over 1600 miles. Those folks probably don't appreciate the way the H2 SUT goes down the road.

The manual says to blend the regular gas with the E85 when going to E85. I assume this is a computer issue? Basically, if you drain the tank with one type of fuel (like 87 regular) and then fill it up with E85, that's not good. Also, the manual says you are going to get worse mileage on E85. I'm guessing, that if you are going from E85 back to regular gas, the same principle applies, that is, blend the two fuels in the tank when going from one to the other. The manual says don't get below 1/4 tank when switching from regular gas to E85.
