    Had to change out my fuel filter on my T100 earlier today, gloves I have are the Mechanix ones, they are pretty thin leather palm n fingers and on top is a mesh material but I didn't wanna get em soaked with gas, and I haven't tried rubber gloves, just like to know what you guys use out ther when working on your Tundra

    I buy nitrile gloves by the box and sometimes double up. I’m wondering if I should buy mechanic gloves when I need something tougher. I’ve never worked so much on a vehicle before for personal satisfaction.

    Those look like strangler gloves, good for Halloween costumes lol .. . . .

    I just buy the blue latex gloves from Harbor Freight. I also have a few extra pairs of ancient but nice cloth with rubber grips/palms gloves my uncle Jim stole from the supply warehouse a few years ago before his company went belly up. They have to be at least 10 years old by now, but I still have like 2 or 3 pairs hermetically sealed in plastic, along with one pair that is really oiled up/beat up that I use for nasty jobs like packing bearings.

    I don't like ripping gloves and ending up with more of a mess than I would have had. These 2 brands have never let me down. I have a box in my truck, tool box, camper, mobile toolbox at work...

    I don't like to work with gloves. I have the Harbor Freight nitrile and latex gloves, but never use them. I just do what I need to do and wash my hands when I am done.

    Avoid washing hands with solvents, they seep into the skin and need to be detoxified. A non-drinker I knew had always washed his hands that way after working on vehicles his whole life and died of liver cancer in his 50's, no other risk factors. VOC's probably gave Bob Ross lymphoma.
