In my last truck, a Tacoma I added a Panavice mount, and a usb in the glove box so I could conceal my iPhone cable. Drilled a hole in the dash to run the cable. Anyone do a similar mod on a Tundra? I just ordered the panavice bracket.

I use a ProClipUSA clip and it’s great.

I ended up using the same panavice mount that I had in my Tacoma. It screws in behind the lower controls. I had the dash apart for the FRAC2 camera mod anyway. Very sturdy product.

I have one of those Scosche mounts and I'm honestly not too impressed. First pothole and my phone falls off or when if I tap the screen a tiny bit too hard the phone falls off. I love the clean install, but I'm not a fan of the retention.

I'm thinking of going with something along the lines of Ram Mount.

So I have to disagree with that, I have a Note 8 (heavy as hell) and mine never falls off, but I do have the metal plate on the outside of my case...

My metal plate is inside the case. That could be part of my problem...

On Amazon they had the cell phone bracket that screws into the panavice. 5423D9CA-3556-426B-A9A8-80C5425BD86F.jpg

Agree..i have one well...best mount I have ever had. A little pricey but I don't mind paying for quality.
